🙏 Pursue Love 1 Cor 14:1, Love Abounds in Discernment, Wisdom to Choose Highest Path Phil 1:9-11, Constantly Filled w/ Knowledge of God's Will, Knowing God Better Serving w/Joy Col 1:9-12, Receive Holy Spirit by Hearing Faith, Gal 3:2-13, Faith Working by Love, Gal 5:6...

🙇🏻 Father thank You for demonstrating Your love for us was so great -- that while we were sinners, Rom 5:8 -- You gave Your Only Son, The Christ, to die for us, Rom 5:8, that we might believe in Him, not perish, but have everlasting life, Jn 3:16. Help us freely receive a fresh and new reminder of that great love again (even as it has already been shed abroad in our hearts by The Holy Spirit, Rom 5:5). Much more now shall we be saved by His Life! Rom 5:9-10. We ask let Your love abound in us (and our love for You abound and overflow toward others, Acts 4:31, Eph 5:18) in all knowledge of God and true discernment, Wisdom to Choose highest of all possible options, that we may be sincere and without mixture, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of You, His and our one true Father, Phil 1:9-11. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will and all that results from that, namely a walk worthy of Jesus' Name, pleasing You every way, abiding fruit in all good works, growing by increasingly knowing You more deeply, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all consistency, joyously giving thanks at all times for for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints-in-light, Col 1:9-12.

🙇🏻 Perfect Father, we are admonished to pursue love, AND earnestly desire its expression through spiritual gifts, especially the edification of Christ's church, 1 Cor 14:1. We ask again in accord with the apostolic prayers, asking, “May our love abound in all knowledge and intense discernment, so we may distinguish between things that differ (see and choose those things which are highest, most excellent, and different from all earthly things -- God's perfect will, way and timing -- which transforms us by the renewing of our minds, as test and approve what the will of God is, that which is good, acceptable and perfect, c.f. Rom 12:2), in order to be sincere and blameless (without anything in our lives that can give offense to The Gospel, or cause our own faith to "hiccup" but rather remain steadfast), Phil 1:9-11, (See Matt 5:45, where we show ourselves to be children of Our Father in Heaven [who is Perfect, Matt 5:48], and Lk 6:35, where we will be called Children of The Most High, consistently bearing His image more clearly, 2 Cor 3:8, by showing what He is really like), Gen 1:27, 1 Cor 15:49.

Father, we are "always praying that we may stand PERFECTLY ASSURED in ALL the WILL OF GOD," Col 4:12. We ask for PRACTICAL WISDOM, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as CHILDREN to be LED by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, in PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, Prov 8:20, HEARING THE VOICE of JESUS, The Lord OUR SHEPHERD, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels "sent forth to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation,” Heb 1:14, Ps 91:11-12. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, Ps 119:2-3, wrongdoing, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us cease from sin, 1 Cor 15:34, 1 Peter 4:1-2, 1 John 3:9. Lead us not into temptation but rather deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, and "see to it no one deceives us," Mt 24:4, for evil influences, Matt 24:12, evil people and imposters proceed from bad to worse in the last days, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, keep us from those who claim to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Tit 1:16, have a form of godliness but deny it's power, in fact let us turn away from such as these, 2 Tim 3:5, again, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3. We pray like Jesus, not that You take us out of the world, but rather You keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, lead us not into temptation, but rather keep us from the evil one, Matt 6:13. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, and may the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2 in whom all the promises are yes and amen, Cor 1:20. In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We join with you in this beautiful and deeply biblical prayer and we say amen to your desire to pursue love and to be filled with the knowledge of God's will.

We love how you have anchored your request in the apostolic prayers themselves, for this is exactly how God teaches us to pray. We agree with you that we are to pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, especially that we may prophesy and build up the church, as it is written Follow after love and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy, 1 Corinthians 14:1. And we join you in praying as Paul prayed that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God, Philippians 1:9-11.

We also lift up with you the prayer from Colossians that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, Colossians 1:9-12. What a worthy walk this is, pleasing Him in every way, growing by knowing Him more deeply, and serving with joy.

We thank God with you for the great demonstration of His love, that God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, Romans 5:8, and that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life, John 3:16. We rejoice that the love of God has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us, Romans 5:5, and that having now been justified by his blood, we will be saved from wrath through him, for if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life, Romans 5:9-10. We thank Him that we receive the promise of the Spirit through faith, for we receive the Holy Spirit not by works of law but by hearing of faith, Galatians 3:2, and that faith working through love is what truly matters, Galatians 5:6.

We pray together now for that practical wisdom and leading you asked for.

Father, we thank You for Your perfect love and for the gift of Your Son Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to Your throne and by whose name alone we are saved, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. We ask that You fill us anew with Your Spirit, that our love would abound in all knowledge and discernment to choose what is highest and most excellent, that we may be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ. Grant us, Father, the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that we may walk worthy of You and bear fruit in every good work. Give us liberally that wisdom which You promise to those who ask, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him, James 1:5, for Yahweh gives wisdom, out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding, Proverbs 2:6. Lead us by Your Holy Spirit, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God, Romans 8:14, and cause us to hear the voice of our Shepherd, for the sheep follow him, for they know his voice, John 10:4, and My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me, John 10:27. Keep us from temptation and deliver us from the evil one, as You taught us to pray, Matthew 6:13, and keep us from evil men and from deception in these last days. Let us stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Colossians 4:12, being transformed by the renewing of our minds to prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, Romans 12:2. We ask that You guard our hearts and minds with Your peace which surpasses all understanding in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7, and that You surround us with favor as with a shield, Psalm 5:12, and give Your angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways, Psalm 91:11. We thank You in advance, believing we have received, according to Mark 11:24, and we pray all this in the mighty and only name of Jesus Christ our Lord, for whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son, John 14:13. Amen.

We encourage you to continue in this pursuit, to remain in the Word and in prayer, to test all things and hold fast what is good, and to let love be your highest aim while earnestly desiring to edify others. As you continue to be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, Ephesians 5:18-19, the Lord will make your path clear and your fruit abundant to His glory.

We are grateful for the way you have put your longing into words. Wanting love to grow with real discernment and wisdom to choose what is highest, and to walk in a way that pleases the Lord and bears fruit, is a beautiful desire and we join you in it.

One thing that has helped us as we pray for that kind of growth is remembering it is usually gradual and quiet. It is a lifelong process with highs and lows, and what matters most is that over time, growth is actually happening. There is no single formula, because God forms each of us uniquely, but the steady means he uses are familiar. Time in his Word, honest prayer for yourself and for others, worship that lifts your focus to him, and fellowship where love is practiced and tested. And at the center is the Holy Spirit, for only God makes things grow. Trying harder in our own strength falls short, while training patiently with him bears lasting change.

If it would help, you might keep one simple rhythm in the coming weeks, like a brief unhurried time in Scripture and prayer, and a faithful place in worship with other believers where you can give and receive encouragement.

Father, thank you for the love you have already poured into our hearts through Christ. Fill our friend anew with knowledge of your will and quiet wisdom for each decision, and form a life that reflects Jesus in love and discernment. Strengthen them to walk faithfully day by day and to know you more deeply as they do. In Jesus name, amen.

We have read your prayer with much thankfulness, for it breathes the very desire which the Spirit Himself works in the heart that has tasted the love of God in Christ. To pursue love and to desire earnestly spiritual gifts for the edifying of the church, to ask that love may abound yet more in knowledge and all discernment, this is to pray according to the mind of God.

You ask to be filled with the knowledge of His will, and this is the axle upon which all true Christian living turns. As surely as God's will is the great heart of providence sending its pulse through all creation, so in grace He is King, having mercy as He wills, and teaching His people to stoop humbly and drink from the fountain which Christ has opened. There is a revealed will in His Word which we must not violate, a providential will in His daily dealings which we must consult with watchful prayer, and a royal will which we seek to fulfill because we love the King. To say from the inmost soul, Not my will but Yours be done, and to keep pace with Him, is heaven upon earth, while to jar against His mind is to lose our joy. May the Lord grant you that practical wisdom which comes from above, to stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, whether He bids you go or stay, to labor or to stand still until the cloudy pillar moves before you.

Remember also that the only knowing and believing which saves concerns the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is one thing to know about Him and another to know Him, to have His love shed abroad in the heart by the Holy Spirit, to be saved not only by His death but much more by His life. We need to come to the tasting and handling of His Word, laying bare our bosoms that the Spirit may write the mind and will of God there clearly, that we may walk worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him in every way, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

Therefore we join our petitions with yours, that your love may abound in knowledge and intense discernment to approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ unto the glory of God. We pray that you may be strengthened with all power according to His glorious might, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness, giving thanks unto the Father who has made you meet to be partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light. May He keep you from temptation and deliver you from evil, guard your heart from deception and from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power, and cause the peace of God which passes all understanding to keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

May the Lord teach you from your youth and through all your days, and make you both His pupil and His witness, declaring His wondrous works to others, to the praise of His grace. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, in whom all the promises are yea and amen. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer to pursue love and to abound in discernment and the knowledge of God's will is good and scriptural, and I join you in it with thanksgiving for the love God has already shown.

We thank the Father that while we were still sinners Christ died for us, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life, and that His love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. We ask that this love would abound in you more and more in all knowledge and discernment, so that you may approve what is excellent, be sincere and without offense, and be filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ to the glory of God, as Paul prayed in Philippians 1:9-11. We pray as in Colossians 1:9-12 that you would be constantly filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, bearing fruit in every good work, increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power according to His glorious might, with endurance and patience and joyful thanksgiving to the Father who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

Remember that God often befriends us even against our own wish and without our knowledge, because He seeks not our request but our profit. So Paul prayed for his trial to depart and the Lord answered, My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness. In the same way, God is faithful and will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape that you may be able to endure it.

True wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord. Wickedness makes the mind foolish, while virtue is the spring and root of prudence, making a person thankful, fair minded, merciful and candid. Therefore cast out all deceit and pursue what is pure, and set the wisdom drawn from Scripture as a barrier on every path that would lead you astray. Do not gaze on what would kindle lust in the heart, and do not pass by your neighbor in need, for small compromises lead to greater ones. Pursue love as you earnestly desire spiritual gifts, not for display but for the building up of the church, as in 1 Corinthians 14:1.

We ask that you would receive and walk by the Holy Spirit through hearing with faith, with faith working through love, led as a child of God in paths of righteousness and justice, hearing the voice of Jesus your Shepherd and following Him. May the Lord keep you from temptation and deliver you from evil, guard you from deception and from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power, and let His favor be a shield about you. May the peace of God which passes all understanding guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen.

We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior, asking that you would stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, growing in knowing Him more deeply and serving Him with joy.
