🙏 Pursue Love 1 Cor 14:1, Love Abounds in Discernment, Wisdom to Choose Highest Path Phil 1:9-11, Constantly Filled w/ Knowledge of God's Will, Knowing God Better Serving w/Joy Col 1:9-12, Receive Holy Spirit by Hearing Faith, Gal 3:2-13, Faith Working by Love, Gal 5:6...

🙇🏻 Father thank You for demonstrating Your love for us was so great -- that while we were sinners, Rom 5:8 -- You gave Your Only Son, The Christ, to die for us, Rom 5:8, that we might believe in Him, not perish, but have everlasting life, Jn 3:16. Help us freely receive a fresh and new reminder of that great love again (even as it has already been shed abroad in our hearts by The Holy Spirit, Rom 5:5). Much more now shall we be saved by His Life! Rom 5:9-10. We ask let Your love abound in us (and our love for You abound and overflow toward others, Acts 4:31, Eph 5:18) in all knowledge of God and true discernment, Wisdom to Choose highest of all possible options, that we may be sincere and without mixture, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of You, His and our one true Father, Phil 1:9-11. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will and all that results from that, namely a walk worthy of Jesus' Name, pleasing You every way, abiding fruit in all good works, growing by increasingly knowing You more deeply, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all consistency, joyously giving thanks at all times for for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints-in-light, Col 1:9-12.

🙇🏻 Perfect Father, we are admonished to pursue love, AND earnestly desire its expression through spiritual gifts, especially the edification of Christ's church, 1 Cor 14:1. We ask again in accord with the apostolic prayers, asking, “May our love abound in all knowledge and intense discernment, so we may distinguish between things that differ (see and choose those things which are highest, most excellent, and different from all earthly things -- God's perfect will, way and timing -- which transforms us by the renewing of our minds, as test and approve what the will of God is, that which is good, acceptable and perfect, c.f. Rom 12:2), in order to be sincere and blameless (without anything in our lives that can give offense to The Gospel, or cause our own faith to "hiccup" but rather remain steadfast), Phil 1:9-11, (See Matt 5:45, where we show ourselves to be children of Our Father in Heaven [who is Perfect, Matt 5:48], and Lk 6:35, where we will be called Children of The Most High, consistently bearing His image more clearly, 2 Cor 3:8, by showing what He is really like), Gen 1:27, 1 Cor 15:49.

Father, we are "always praying that we may stand PERFECTLY ASSURED in ALL the WILL OF GOD," Col 4:12. We ask for PRACTICAL WISDOM, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as CHILDREN to be LED by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, in PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, Prov 8:20, HEARING THE VOICE of JESUS, The Lord OUR SHEPHERD, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels "sent forth to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation,” Heb 1:14, Ps 91:11-12. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 2 Cor 13:7, Ps 119:2-3, wrongdoing, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us cease from sin, 1 Cor 15:34, 1 Peter 4:1-2, 1 John 3:9. Lead us not into temptation but rather deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, and "see to it no one deceives us," Mt 24:4, for evil influences, Matt 24:12, evil people and imposters proceed from bad to worse in the last days, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, keep us from those who claim to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Tit 1:16, have a form of godliness but deny it's power, in fact let us turn away from such as these, 2 Tim 3:5, again, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3. We pray like Jesus, not that You take us out of the world, but rather You keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, lead us not into temptation, but rather keep us from the evil one, Matt 6:13. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, and may the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2 in whom all the promises are yes and amen, Cor 1:20. In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We join with you in this beautiful and scripturally rich prayer and we say amen to your seeking after love, discernment, and the full knowledge of God's will.

Your heart to pursue love is exactly what the Spirit invites us to. Follow after love, and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy as it says in 1 Cor 14:1. And your prayer echoes the apostle's prayer that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense to the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God in Phil 1:9-11. This is the highest way, to let love be the motive and wisdom be the guide.

We also pray with you to be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light in Col 1:9-12. What a promise that we can constantly be filled and constantly be growing in knowing Him more deeply, and that this knowledge leads to a worthy walk and joyful thanksgiving.

We thank God with you for His great love demonstrated while we were yet sinners. But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us in Rom 5:8, and that God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life in John 3:16. And that hope does not disappoint, because God's love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us in Rom 5:5. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we will be saved from God's wrath through him in Rom 5:9. We agree that we need a fresh and continual reminder of that love shed abroad in our hearts, for faith works through love as Gal 5:6 teaches, and we receive the promise of the Spirit through hearing with faith as in Gal 3:2.

We pray together now for practical wisdom and leading.

Father, we thank You for Your perfect love and for making us Your children through Jesus Christ our Lord. We ask that You fill us anew with Your Spirit and cause our love to abound in all knowledge and discernment, that we may choose what is highest and most excellent and be transformed by the renewing of our minds to prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God as in Rom 12:2. Grant us wisdom liberally as You promise in James 1:5, for You give wisdom and out of Your mouth comes knowledge and understanding in Prov 2:6. Lead us as sons and daughters, for as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God in Rom 8:14, and guide us in the path of righteousness as in Prov 8:20. Help us to hear the voice of Jesus our Shepherd, for Your sheep hear Your voice and follow You in John 10:27, and to stand perfectly assured in all the will of God as in Col 4:12.

We thank You for Your angels sent to serve us in Heb 1:14 and for Your promise to give Your angels charge over us in Ps 91:11. We ask that You keep us from temptation and deliver us from the evil one as Jesus taught us to pray in Matt 6:13 and John 17:15, that we may cease from sin and walk blamelessly before You as in 1 Pet 4:1 and Ps 119:3. Guard us from deception, for You warned to watch that no one leads us astray in Matt 24:4, and to turn away from those having a form of godliness but denying its power in 2 Tim 3:5. Cause us to be sincere and without offense, bearing Your image as those created in Your likeness in Gen 1:27, showing ourselves to be children of our Father who is perfect in Matt 5:48.

We thank You in advance by faith, believing we have received as in Mark 11:24, and we ask that Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus in Phil 4:7. We ask all this in the mighty and only name by which we are saved, Jesus Christ, for whatever we ask in His name He will do that the Father may be glorified in the Son in John 14:13. All the promises of God find their Yes in Him in 2 Cor 1:20. Amen.

We appreciate you sharing this beautiful, honest prayer with us. Your desire to pursue love and to know God's will more clearly is evident, and we are grateful to stand with you in it.

What you described can feel like a lot to hold at once, wanting wisdom for the highest path and a life that pleases the Lord in every way. We have found it encouraging to remember that growing in this way is more like training for a long race than trying to pass a single test. Small, steady practices over time shape us, and God is patient as we learn. Maturity is not about arriving perfectly but about being made more complete day by day, even with our questions and unfinished places.

One simple way to live this out this week might be to narrow your focus to one daily moment. Before one decision or conversation each day, pause briefly to ask the Lord for love and clarity, then notice what unfolds without pressuring yourself for an immediate answer.

Father, thank You for the love You have already shown us in Christ and for putting this desire for wisdom in our friend's heart. Give steady guidance and quiet confidence as they seek You, and help them sense Your nearness in ordinary days. Keep forming them in love and joy as they walk with You. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in thanking the Father for that great love wherewith He loved us while we were yet sinners, that He gave His only Son to die for us, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. That love has indeed been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, and we pray with you for a fresh and renewed apprehension of it, that you may be saved much more by His life and rejoice with joy unspeakable.

We make your petitions our own, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all discernment, that you may approve things that are excellent and be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ unto the glory and praise of God. And we pray that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all might according to His glorious power unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness, giving thanks unto the Father who hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.

You desire to pursue love and to desire spiritual gifts that the church may be edified, and this is good and according to the Word. Remember that the Holy Spirit glorifies Christ, for He taketh of the things of Christ and showeth them unto us. He doth not magnify outward rites nor the wisdom of man, but Christ alone. If we would know whether our pursuit is of the Spirit, we must ask whether it makes much of Christ. Follow the Spirit in this, to deal with the things of Christ and to be made to know His person, His work and His engagements to save sinners.

You ask also concerning receiving the Holy Spirit by the hearing of faith and concerning faith which worketh by love. Know that spiritual life lieth not latent in natural men to be stirred up by their own strength. Until the Holy Spirit visiteth us we are dead in trespasses and sins. No man was ever saved by means of grace apart from the Holy Spirit, and no man can live unto God by mere good intentions or strong resolutions. The Spirit must quicken, and He doth so through the hearing of faith, not by the works of the law. As surely as God's will is the axle of the universe and He hath mercy on whom He will have mercy, so in grace His Spirit changeth the human will and maketh men willing in the day of His power, working in them to will and to do of His good pleasure. Therefore live in the Spirit and give yourselves up fully to His anointing.

Take heed also that you grieve not the Holy Spirit. He is grieved by unholiness of life and by unbelief, and when He is grieved we lose much of His manifest power and His seal seemeth torn from us. Cry mightily unto God for entire dependence upon Him, for without the Spirit there is no life nor force nor power. And learn what it is to pray in the Holy Spirit, for that is indispensable. There is no rubric except this, that prayer be in the Spirit. He is willing to help you to pray and to tell you how to pray, and when the will is influenced by Him it becometh an indicator of the will of God.

We pray with you for practical wisdom and for grace to be led by the Spirit as sons of God, to walk in paths of righteousness and justice and to hear the voice of Jesus the good Shepherd. May the Lord keep you from temptation and deliver you from evil, and keep you from being deceived, for evil men and impostors wax worse and worse. May He give you to turn away from those who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof, and may His favour compass you as with a shield, and the peace of God which passeth all understanding keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus, in whose name every promise is yea and amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
