🙏 Pursue Love 1 Cor 14:1, Love Abounds in Discernment, Wisdom to Choose Highest Phil 1:9-11, Consistently Knowing God Serving w/Joy Col 1:9-12... 🙌 Father thank You for demonstrating Your love for us while we were sinners Christ died for us, Rom 5:8. Help us in our freely receiving of that same love, Rom 5:5, pursuing Your love, and freely and earnestly desiring its expression through spiritual gifts, acts of kindness to believers, unbelievers, friends, family members, even "enemies" (though I ask you convert everyone -- I honestly have no "enemies" but will they'd all be saved, 1 Tim 2:4, all find Your love, grace, forgiveness and empowering times of refreshing that stem from believing in Messiah and repentance and remission of sins and freedom from eternal condemnation, Luke 24:46-47, Acts 3:19-20, 2 Cor 7:10-11, 2 Peter 3:9. We especially desire love for and the edification of Christ's beloved church, 1 Cor 14:1-4. We ask let Your love abound in us in all knowledge of God and true discernment, Wisdom to Choose highest of all possible options, that we may be sincere and without mixture, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which come through Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of You, His and our one true Father, Phil 1:9-11. Fill us with the knowledge of Your will and all that results from that, namely a walk worthy of Jesus' Name, pleasing You every way, abiding fruit in all good works, growing by increasingly knowing You more deeply, strengthened with all power, according to the might of Your glory, for the attaining of all consistency, joyously giving thanks at all times for for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints-in-light, Col 1:9-12.

🙇🏻 Perfect Father, we thank You we can pursue love, pray in accord with the apostolic prayers, asking, “May our love abound in all knowledge and intense discernment, so we may distinguish between things that differ (see and choose those things which are highest, most excellent, and different from all earthly things -- God's perfect will, way and timing -- which transforms us by the renewing of our minds, as test and approve what the will of God is, that which is good, acceptable and perfect, c.f. Rom 12:2), in order to be sincere and blameless (without anything in our lives that can give offense to The Gospel, or cause our own faith to "hiccup" but rather remain steadfast), Phil 1:9-11, (See Matt 5:45, where we show ourselves to be children of Our Father in Heaven [who is Perfect, Matt 5:48], and Lk 6:35, where we will be called Children of The Most High, consistently bearing His image more clearly, 2 Cor 3:8, by showing what He is like), Gen 1:27, 1 Cor 15:49.

"FILL US with the knowledge of Your Will, in ALL spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we walk in a manner WORTHY of You, LORD, pleasing You in EVERY way, bearing fruit in EVERY good work, growing by INCREASING in the knowledge of God; STRENGTHENED with ALL POWER, by The MIGHT of YOUR GLORY, to ATTAIN ALL STEADFASTNESS and PATIENCE; JOYOUSLY giving THANKS to YOU, who QUALIFIED US to share in the INHERITANCE of the saints in light," Col 1:9-12.

Father, we are "always praying that we may stand PERFECTLY ASSURED in ALL the WILL OF GOD," Col 4:12. We ask for PRACTICAL WISDOM, James 1:5, Prov 2:6-7, and our inheritance as CHILDREN to be LED by The Holy Spirit, Rom 8:14, in PATHS of RIGHTEOUSNESS and JUSTICE, Prov 8:20, HEARING THE VOICE of JESUS, The Lord OUR SHEPHERD, Jn 10:4-5, 27.

Thank you for angels "sent forth to render service for our sake,” Heb 1:14, Ps 91:10-11. Keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies and fear, Zeph 3:13, and let us do no wrong, 1 Cor 16:9. Deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, deception, Mt 24:4, evil people and imposters proceeding from bad to worse in these last days, deceiving and being deceived, 2 Tim 3:13, keep us from those who claim to know God but by their deeds deny Him, Tit 1:16, have a form of godliness but deny it's power, in fact let us turn away from such as these as well, 2 Tim 3:5, again, keep us from evil people and the evil one, 2Thes 3:2-3. We pray like Jesus, not that You take us out of the world, but that You keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Grant favor as a shield, Ps 5:12, as we thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, and may the peace of God that passes comprehension guard hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, 2 in whom all the promises are yes and amen, Cor 1:20. In Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14.

We come before You, Heavenly Father, with hearts full of gratitude for the love You have so richly demonstrated toward us, even while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). Your Word reminds us to pursue love above all else, for love is the greatest commandment and the fulfillment of the Law (1 Corinthians 14:1, Matthew 22:37-40). We earnestly desire that Your love would abound in us more and more, not only in depth of feeling but in knowledge and all discernment, so that we may approve the things that are excellent and be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ (Philippians 1:9-11).

Father, fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that we may walk in a manner worthy of You, fully pleasing You, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10). Strengthen us with all power according to Your glorious might, so that we may have great endurance and patience, joyfully giving thanks to You for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:11-12). We long to be led by Your Holy Spirit, for those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God (Romans 8:14). Guide us in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake, that we may hear Your voice and follow You, our Good Shepherd (John 10:4, 27).

Lord, we pray for practical wisdom, for if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask You, who gives generously to all without finding fault (James 1:5). Teach us to discern between good and evil, to choose the highest and most excellent things, and to test and approve what Your will is, that which is good, acceptable, and perfect (Romans 12:2). Let us not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds, that we may prove what Your good, pleasing, and perfect will is.

We ask for protection from temptation, sin, and the evil one. Deliver us from evil, for Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever (Matthew 6:13). Keep us from deception, from those who claim to know You but deny You by their deeds (Titus 1:16), and from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power (2 Timothy 3:5). We turn away from such people, for evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived (2 Timothy 3:13). Instead, grant us favor as a shield (Psalm 5:12) and let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we thank You for the angels You have sent to minister to us, who are heirs of salvation (Hebrews 1:14). We rejoice in the truth that we are Your children, created in Your image (Genesis 1:27), and that as we grow in the knowledge of You, we are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory (2 Corinthians 3:18). Let us consistently bear Your image, showing the world what You are like, perfect in love, mercy, and justice (Matthew 5:48).

We pray that Your love would overflow from us to all people, believers, unbelievers, friends, family, and even those who may oppose us. We ask that all would come to the knowledge of the truth, repent, and receive the remission of sins (Luke 24:47, Acts 3:19). May none perish but all come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), for You desire all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). Let us be instruments of Your grace, sharing the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Lord, we stand perfectly assured in Your will, knowing that all Your promises are "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for whatever we ask in His name, You will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13-14). May our lives bring glory and praise to You, our one true Father, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We are with you in this prayer, and we’re grateful for the way you’ve poured out your heart. What you’re asking for, love that’s both tender and discerning, wisdom that chooses the highest, consistency that endures, these desires don’t come from nowhere. They reflect a heart already set on Christ, and that itself is a quiet work of the Spirit.

It’s clear you long for more than a fleeting spiritual high. You want a life that steadily bears fruit. One thing we’ve found helpful when praying for renewed love and sharpened discernment is to remember that our Good Shepherd doesn’t usually shout directions. He leads in the ordinary moments, a nudge to pause and listen to a friend, a gentle check in the spirit before speaking, a small impulse toward kindness we could easily dismiss. These daily, almost unnoticed obediences are often where love “abounds in knowledge and all discernment.” Over time, they weave a consistent walk.

So perhaps this week, as you continue praying these Scripture-rich prayers, you might also pick one specific setting, maybe a conversation at church, a family interaction, or a decision you’re weighing, and simply ask, “Lord, what does love look like here, right now? What is the higher choice?” Then act on the quiet answer. Not because you have to get it perfect, but because that’s how we learn to follow the Shepherd’s voice.

We’re praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, thank You for this honest hunger for love that is wise and steadfast. Quiet the inner noise that competes for our attention, and help us to hear Your voice in the unspectacular moments of daily life. Keep us from confusion and from the pull of what merely looks good. Anchor our feet in the paths You’ve already shown us, and fill our small acts of love with Your presence. We trust You to lead us all the way home. Amen.

"It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it." Isaiah 55:11
Praying in agreement with you in Jesus Name Amen.

Love abounding, you pray, and well you should, for this is the very heart of the Gospel set before us! When the Lord declares His love, He does so in the very hour when sin has abounded, when the soul might expect the rod rather than the kiss. "But now, thus says the Lord", even now, in the midst of our felt weakness and unworthiness, He comes with consolations sweeter than honey and the honeycomb. Do not think you must bring a fitness of your own to win His affection, for if there were any goodness in you to attract Him, the freeness of His grace would be diminished. No; He loves freely, when there is no inducement, when the heart is hard and the hands are empty. The silver bells of infinite love, free pardon, abounding grace, these ring out for sinners, for the ungodly, for those who have no strength. And here is the wonder: where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. Not a bare equivalence, but a glorious overflowing, a tide that swallows up the iniquity and leaves the shore covered with the treasures of mercy.

You ask that love may abound in all knowledge and discernment, that you may choose the highest and walk in wisdom. This is a petition after the Lord's own heart, for love is not a blind impulse but a seeing grace. When the love of God is shed abroad in the heart by the Holy Spirit, it opens the eyes to distinguish between things that differ. It is not enough to avoid the grosser evils; love, abounding love, has a refining work, purging the soul from mixture, making it sincere and without offense. And what is the secret of this spiritual discernment? It is to keep His Word, to love it, to meditate upon it until the fire burns and the tongue speaks. Those who are solid and steadfast in the truth will not be carried about by every wind, and love itself will be the anchor of their stability. God does not ask of us a slavish fear but a childlike love that delights in His commands. The more you love, the more you will joy, for great love to Christ brings great joy in Christ. Do you see the connection? Little love brings little joy, but when the soul sits down to tell the Savior how she loves Him, rehearsing His deeds of grace, then the perfume of His presence fills every chamber of the heart.

You plead to be filled with the knowledge of His will, strengthened with all power, and made fruitful in every good work. This too is the work of love, for love is the fulfilling of the law and the fountain of all true obedience. When the love of Christ constrains us, we walk not by feelings or carnal wisdom, but by faith, a faith that works by love. Do not be satisfied with scant enjoying and cool feeling. Eat, drink, take your fill of the provisions of His love! The host whose joy lies in seeing His guests feasting will not be pleased with your holding back. What joy is sweeter than to sit, perhaps with tears, and say, "My God, I love You too"? There, in the measureless depths of unutterable love, we find the pearl of joy. And this joy is your strength for steadfastness. When the enemy assails with doubt or fear, your shield is the love God has for you and the love He has wrought in you for Him. The more we muse upon this theme, the love that laid its heart bare in Christ dying for the ungodly, the more we are lost in wonder, love, and praise. And that love will keep you from falling; it will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Go forward, then, with this abounding love as your portion. Speak often to one another of the lovingkindness of the Lord, and to the world declare what great things He has done for you. The first instinct of a new-born soul is to tell its joy, and as you pursue love, you will find a tongue you thought you had not. Be bold to rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say, rejoice. Though the fig tree should not blossom, yet in God you may exult, for He has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. That inheritance is not earned by your steadfastness but freely given by the Father who loved you while you were yet a sinner. Stand, then, in that love, fully assured that nothing shall separate you from it. Let the full sweep and current of holy joy carry you away, for it is safe to yield to it. Drink deeply, feast heartily, and let your love grow so that your joy may be full, to the praise of His glorious grace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer you have brought is according to apostolic pattern, and I will join you in it. But remember what kind of love you are asking to pursue. The Apostle does not mean a love that merely feels warmth. The love that builds up the Church is a love that suffers wrong rather than does wrong. He asks, Why do you not rather take wrong? Why do you not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? For the not suffering wrong consists in doing none. If you would walk in love, begin there. Flee every deceit, every treachery, every ungrateful word, because wickedness begins in folly and makes even a reasonable person blind. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and virtue is the root of prudence.

You have asked for discernment to choose the highest. That is a good request, but do not think the highest is found by sharp calculation. The hidden wisdom of God is Christ crucified, which the rulers of this age did not understand. The way to know His will is to become lowly and to do what you already know. The Holy Spirit leads the children of God in paths of righteousness, but He does not lead the proud or the double-minded. Therefore ask for a sincere heart, without mixture, and God will make the next step plain. He is not far from those who keep His commandments.

You have prayed also to be kept from evil people and from deception. That is necessary, but the more dangerous evil is the one we carry within. When a man is treacherous, unfair, or ungrateful, he thrusts the sword against himself and does not know it. So guard your heart more than you guard against others. Do no wrong, speak no lie, return no insult, and you will be kept by the peace that passes understanding. Do not wait for your enemies to be converted before you love them. To love your enemy is not first a feeling toward him; it is obedience to God. In loving him you benefit yourself, because you are not loving him only, you are obeying the command of the Lord. If you have no enemies, then love the unkind, the inconvenient, the faithless, and pray for all to be saved.

I ask with you that the Father fill you with the knowledge of His will, strengthen you with all power according to His glorious might, and make you steadfast and patient with joy. But see that you do not pursue virtue as a hireling, only for reward. Love righteousness because God is righteous. Then the reward will follow, and love will abound with true knowledge and all discernment, to the glory and praise of God.
