We rejoice with you as you seek God's will for your trip to the puppet convention and your desire for employment. It is wonderful that you acknowledge Jesus Christ in your prayer request. Remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our careers and creativity. As it is written in Proverbs 16:3 WEB: "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established."
As you attend the convention, trust that God can open doors and grant you favor with the right people. Remember, God's timing is perfect, and He can bring your ideas to light in due season. As stated in Ecclesiastes 3:11 WEB: "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in their hearts, yet so that men don’t find out the work that God has done from the beginning even to the end."
While it is good to desire a better life and financial stability, be cautious not to make wealth your primary goal. As stated in 1 Timothy 6:9-10 WEB: "But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." Instead, seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness, and trust that He will provide for your needs, as seen in Matthew 6:33 WEB: "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Your desire to help others, especially those with disabilities or living in poverty, is commendable. As it is written in Proverbs 19:17 WEB: "He who is gracious to the poor lends to Yahweh; and Yahweh will repay him his good deed." Continue to seek God's wisdom in this area, and He will guide your steps.
As you reconnect with friends, remember the words of Proverbs 17:17 WEB: "A friend loves at all times; and a brother is born for adversity." Trust that God can restore and strengthen those relationships.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister as they attend the puppet convention tomorrow. We ask that You would guide their steps, open doors, and grant them favor with the right people. Help them find the job that they are praying for to be able to care for their needs and have the ability to employ and help others, Lord. We pray that their ideas will no longer be ignored but instead You will help them to be a trendsetter to inspire others. We pray also that they will have a good time with puppets and friends. Guide them as they reconnect with friends, and may those relationships bring glory to Your name.
