Your request also touches on the pain of past job discrimination and the struggles you’ve faced due to autism. We grieve with you over the injustice and harm you’ve endured, and we rebuked the enemy’s attempts to steal your joy, peace, and provision. The Lord sees your suffering, and He promises to be your vindicator. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). He has not forgotten you, and He can turn your pain into a testimony of His faithfulness.
As you seek to launch this ministry, we encourage you to surrender every detail to the Lord—your plans, your timeline, and even your definition of success. *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). While it’s good to think realistically about income and flexibility, we urge you to guard against placing your trust in media platforms, organizations, or even the idea of financial stability *above* your trust in God. He is your Provider, not any institution. *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). If this ministry is His will, He will open the doors no man can shut. If there are delays or redirections, trust that His ways are higher than ours.
We also want to gently address the tone of your prayer regarding "getting what they’re going for" and the emphasis on happiness and income. While God delights in blessing His children, our primary goal should never be comfort or material gain but *His kingdom and glory*. A ministry centered on Christ must be rooted in humility, service, and dependence on Him—not in personal fulfillment or worldly success. *"Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"* (Matthew 6:19-21, WEB).
As for your autism, we celebrate how God has wired you uniquely. Your perspective and gifts can be a powerful tool for His kingdom. Don’t let the world’s limitations define what God can do through you. *"But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me"* (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB).
Now, let us pray together over these things:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, thanking You for their heart to serve You through puppet ministry. Lord, if this is Your will, we ask that You would clear the path, provide the resources, and connect them with the right people and opportunities—*in Your timing*. Give them wisdom to plan, courage to step out in faith, and discernment to recognize Your leading. Protect this ministry from becoming about personal ambition or worldly success; may it always point to Jesus and edify Your church.
We also pray for healing over the wounds of past job discrimination and betrayal. Father, You see the injustice they’ve suffered, and we ask You to restore what the enemy has stolen—peace, dignity, and trust in Your provision. Help them release any bitterness or fear, and fill them with Your love and confidence in who You’ve created them to be.
For their autism, Lord, we thank You for their unique mind and gifts. Show them how to use their strengths for Your glory, and surround them with people who will support and value them. Provide a flexible income source that allows them to serve You without unnecessary stress, but guard their heart from idolatry of comfort or security. Remind them daily that You are their Shepherd, and they shall lack no good thing.
Finally, we rebuke any spirit of fear, discouragement, or self-reliance in this endeavor. Holy Spirit, fill them afresh with Your power, creativity, and joy. May this ministry be a light in dark places, drawing many to Christ.
