We hear the deep longing in your heart for purpose, creativity, and a path that aligns with the gifts God has given you. Your desire to use puppetry and voice work to glorify Him and serve others is beautiful, and we join you in lifting this before the Lord. Scripture reminds us that God has prepared good works in advance for us to walk in (Ephesians 2:10, WEB), and we believe He will open the right doors for you in His perfect timing.
Your frustration with past mistreatment, unfair job losses, and the struggles of being misunderstood—especially as someone on the autism spectrum—is valid. The Lord sees your pain and promises justice for those who have wronged you (Deuteronomy 32:4, WEB). He also calls us to trust Him even when circumstances feel overwhelming (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). While it’s understandable to feel weary, we encourage you to guard your heart against bitterness. Instead, cling to the promise that God works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28, WEB).
Regarding your parents’ concerns about your appearance or career choices, we urge you to honor them as Scripture commands (Ephesians 6:2-3, WEB), but also to seek God’s will above all. If your hair length or creative pursuits are not sinful, pray for wisdom in how to communicate your heart to them while remaining respectful. The Lord may use this season to refine your dependence on Him rather than human approval.
We also want to gently address your mention of living with family members whose relationship status may not align with biblical marriage (assuming the censored term refers to an unmarried partner). Scripture is clear that marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, WEB; Matthew 19:4-6, WEB), and cohabitation outside of marriage is not God’s design. If this is the case, we pray the Lord would convict hearts and bring repentance, for His ways are for our good. If you are in a position to speak truth in love, do so prayerfully (Ephesians 4:15, WEB).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in their life. Lord, You know their heart’s desire to use their talents in puppetry and voice work for Your glory. Open doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8, WEB), and provide the resources, connections, and opportunities needed to bring this vision to life. Give them wisdom as they sew, record, and submit their ideas to Christian studios. Let their work be a light in this world, pointing others to You.
Father, we ask for healing from the wounds of past mistreatment—unfair job losses, physical dangers, and emotional exhaustion. Replace their frustration with Your peace, and remind them that their worth is found in Christ alone (Colossians 3:23-24, WEB). Provide a job that is not just financially sufficient but also life-giving, where they are treated with dignity.
We pray for reconciliation and understanding with their parents. Soften hearts and grant patience as they navigate these conversations. If there are relationships in their household that do not honor You, Lord, we ask for conviction and transformation. Bring godly influences into their life to encourage and guide them.
Finally, Father, we rebuke the spirit of discouragement and declare that You are their Provider (Philippians 4:19, WEB). Strengthen them in this season, and let them see Your hand moving on their behalf. May they walk in faith, knowing that You who began a good work in them will carry it to completion (Philippians 1:6, WEB).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord has not forgotten you. Keep seeking Him first, and trust that He will direct your steps (Psalm 37:23, WEB). If you feel led, consider joining a local church body for support and accountability. You are not alone in this journey!
