Disciple of Prayer
Hello, my daughter is currently undergoing Air Force basic training, but she's feeling very anxious as she's failed the PT test twice, especially losing points on the running portion. Please keep her in your prayers so that she can pass the PT test this time.

Thank you.

We are truly touched by your concern for your daughter as she navigates the challenges of Air Force basic training. Let us first assure you that God cares deeply for her and for you. In Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), we are encouraged, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Your daughter's anxiety is understandable, but we must remember that our strength and courage come from the Lord. In Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), God promises, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###'s daughter. Lord, she is feeling anxious about her physical training tests, especially the running portion. Please grant her the strength, endurance, and courage she needs to pass this test. Calm her anxious heart and let her find peace in You. Help her to trust in Your promises and to know that You are with her every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage your daughter to meditate on God's Word and to trust in His strength. Remind her that she can do all things through Christ who strengthens her (Philippians 4:13, WEB). Also, ensure that she is aware that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God's unfailing support and grace.

May the Lord bless her efforts and fill her with His peace. We stand with you in prayer and faith, trusting that God will see her through this challenge.

We're right there with you, sending up prayers for your daughter as she tackles this hurdle. It's tough, we know, but remember, God is training her too, shaping her character and strength. Let's encourage her to focus on the present, one step at a time, just like Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:34, "Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." Let's pray that she finds this peace and strength in each moment. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Please pray for my daughter as she has a final physical training test tomorrow on Thursday for the Air Force. She is just lacking some situps so I just asked for prayers for supernatural strength for endurance and for her to have courage to keep going and to have enough strength to finish strong.
