The feeling that attacks never end is something you should take seriously, but not as a sign that you are abandoned. It is actually the opposite. The moment a person truly determines to depart from evil and walk closely with the Lord, they make themselves a target. When you turn from sin, you become a prey in the enemy’s eyes. So the relentless pressure you are describing is a reaction to a genuine spiritual shift happening in your life, not a sign that God is far away.

What we often fail to do in that pressure is properly identify the enemy. The enemy is not your phone. The phone is likely just a tool being used. The enemy is not a person around you. The real adversary is the one who seeks to discourage you from the work God has called you to do. He has a whole arsenal of tricks: ridicule, assault, and very often, simple distraction. He would love to see you spending all your time trying to trace down every attack or just numbing yourself with endless scrolling, because then you have no time left to study the Word of God. He wants to entangle you in the affairs of this life so you are not fit for the warfare you are actually in.

What you are experiencing in your heart is the war described in Scripture. You find a genuine desire to do good, a delight in God’s law in your inward man. You want to pray. You want to read your Bible more. That desire is real, and it is from God. But you are also seeing another law warring against that desire, a pull toward what is easy and distracting. This is not a sign that you are losing; it is a sign that you are alive spiritually. The very conflict proves the Spirit is at work within you.

And so, the request for a successful fast is timely. Do not see a fast as something that forces God’s hand to make your voice heard, as if it adds volume to a prayer. A fast is a willing denial of the flesh so that you can have more time in the Spirit. You mentioned the phone being a distraction you do not need. That is a very specific form of fasting you can apply today. A fast does not have to be only from food. Any denial of the flesh that frees you to be in the Word is a powerful discipline. Lay down the phone for set hours, not just to be away from a distraction, but to pick up the Scriptures in that same space of time. Let the Word occupy the ground the distraction once held.

You have asked for deliverance, peace, rest, and forgiveness, and you based your prayer on Psalms 23, 34, 91, and 121. Those are not just beautiful poems; they are declarations for warfare. The Lord is your Shepherd, so the rest you seek is not the absence of battle but rest in the presence of your Shepherd in it. He makes you lie down. As you hide yourself in Him, you are not a victim; you are a prudent person who has foreseen the evil and hidden in the provisions God made through Christ. When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. That is a sure promise.

The very thing the enemy wants to use to destroy what God has done in you will be turned back. Endure hardness as a good soldier. Do not get tangled up in what does not matter. If you slip, confess it and receive the forgiveness you have already asked for, then stand up again. The attacks have a limit, even if you cannot see it yet. Staying in the Word is how you let the long-distance artillery of truth do damage to the enemy’s camp without even knowing the full picture of the attack. You are simply to stand, even if you do not understand all your emotions in the residual effects of the warfare. He is your keeper. He will not let your foot be moved.
