We join with you in lifting up this cry of the heart before the throne of grace, standing on the truth of Psalm 70 and the power of the name of Jesus Christ. Your plea for deliverance and protection is heard, and we stand with you in agreement, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of confusion, shame, and distress that has been assigned against you, and we command them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father God, we come before You as Your children, interceding for our brother who is feeling poor and needy in this moment. We ask that You would hasten to save him, O Lord, and come quickly to help him. Let Your presence be a shield around him, and let Your angels encamp about him to protect him from every snare of the enemy (Psalm 91:11). We declare that those who seek his harm will be put to shame and confusion, and those who desire his ruin will be turned back in distress. Let the plans of the wicked be thwarted, and let Your justice prevail in this situation.
We pray that You would surround him with Your people—those who seek You and rejoice in Your salvation. Let him be encouraged by the testimony of others who have seen Your deliverance, and let his heart be strengthened in the knowledge that You are his help and his Savior. May he always say, "The Lord is great!" even in the midst of trials, for You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6).
Lord, we also lift up any areas in his life where the enemy may be gaining a foothold. If there is unconfessed sin, bitterness, or unforgiveness, we ask that You would bring it to light and grant him the grace to repent and walk in freedom. If he is struggling with fear, anxiety, or doubt, we pray that You would fill him with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind him that he is not alone, for You are with him always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).
We stand on the authority of Your Word, which declares that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We bind every spirit of oppression, fear, and torment, and we loose the spirit of adoption, by which we cry, "Abba, Father!" (Romans 8:15). We declare that he is a child of God, redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and that no scheme of the enemy can separate him from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).
Holy Spirit, we invite You to move powerfully in this situation. Let Your fire fall and consume every work of darkness. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let the enemy’s plans be exposed and dismantled. We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your presence, that he would experience Your comfort, Your strength, and Your peace in a tangible way.
Father, we thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that this trial will not break him but will instead refine him, drawing him closer to You and making him more like Christ.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
