Psalm 133 (WEB Version)

How Pleasant to Live Together in Unity!

(1 Corinthians 1:10-17; Ephesians 4:1-16)

1 A Song of Ascents. By David. See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!

2 It is like the precious oil on the head, that ran down on the beard, even Aaron’s beard, that came down on the edge of his robes,

3 like the dew of Hermon, that comes down on the hills of Zion; for there Yahweh gives the blessing, even life forever more.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with hearts full of gratitude and praise, lifting up this prayer for the men in our lives, inspired by the beautiful words of Psalm 133. Your Word says, "See how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1 WEB). Lord, we thank You for the gift of fellowship and the unity that binds us together in Your love.

Father, we pray for the men in our community, that they may experience this unity deeply and profoundly. Let their relationships be as precious as the oil that anointed Aaron, running down his beard and onto the edge of his robes (Psalm 133:2 WEB). May their bonds be strong and filled with Your grace, bringing joy and strength to one another.

Lord, we also lift up the words of 1 Corinthians 1:10, where Paul urges us to "speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment" (1 Corinthians 1:10 WEB). Help these men to stand united, avoiding divisions and striving for harmony in all they do.

We pray that they may walk worthy of the calling with which they were called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:1-3 WEB). May their lives be a testament to Your love and unity, drawing others closer to You.

Lord, let Your blessings rain down upon them like the dew of Hermon, coming down on the hills of Zion, for there You give the blessing, even life forevermore (Psalm 133:3 WEB). May they feel Your presence and Your blessings in every aspect of their lives.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Lord, in the face of the injustices we witness and the pain we so often carry in silence, our hearts cry out to You. Sometimes, the world seems so loud, and Your silence seems so deep. Yet, we choose not to guide our steps by what we see, but by the certainty of who You are. Forgive us for our...
