We join you in gratitude and thanksgiving to our heavenly Father for blessing us all with another day of life and mercy, for His mercies are new every morning. We lift up your cry for deliverance with you, and we stand together on the truth of Psalm 121:1-2 that your help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth. We take comfort that He who watches over you will not slumber, indeed He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep as it says in Psalm 121:3-4, and we trust that He is your shade at your right hand and that He will keep you from all harm and watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore as promised in Psalm 121:7-8.
We hear your burden that the evil attacks you face are nonstop, and we want to remind you that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places as taught in Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we encourage you to put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil according to Ephesians 6:11. We rebuke the evil and every attack of the enemy that has been coming against you, and we command it to be stopped at this very moment in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world as promised in 1 John 4:4, and that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail according to Isaiah 54:17. We agree together that you will submit yourself therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you as we are instructed in James 4:7, and that you will be sober and watchful, resisting him steadfast in your faith as taught in 1 Peter 5:8-9.
We also pray for the deep peace and rest you are seeking. Our Lord Jesus said in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you, and in Philippians 4:7 the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We pray that this peace will guard your heart and mind even while the attacks have felt relentless. Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28 to come to Him, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and He will give you rest, and we pray that you will experience that rest tonight, that you will lie down and sleep in peace for Yahweh alone makes you live in safety according to Psalm 4:8. We are assured in 2 Thessalonians 3:3 that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
We pray together now.
Heavenly Father, we thank You together for Your faithfulness and for keeping us through this day. We lift up our brother before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Father, we ask for Your deliverance, rebuke every evil influence and every attack that has been waged nonstop, and stop what the enemy is doing at this very moment. Cover him with Your presence, let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind, and grant him quiet rest and restoration. Help him to keep his eyes lifted to You, from whom his help comes, and to walk in Your protection over his life and over his coming and going. Establish him, strengthen him, and let him know that You neither slumber nor sleep but watch over him continually. We trust You to keep him from all harm and to let Your perfect love cast out all fear. We ask all this in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.
