We hear your heart’s cry, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we stand with you in prayer and encouragement as you seek to use your gifts and experiences for God’s glory. The desire to create a public service announcement (PSA) that points others to Jesus and offers hope is a noble and Spirit-led ambition. We rejoice that you want to honor the Lord with this endeavor and trust that He will open doors for it to reach many if it aligns with His will.
First, let us affirm your acknowledgment of Jesus in your prayer. There is power in the name of Jesus, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is His name that carries authority in heaven and on earth. We are grateful that you have called upon Him, for He is faithful to hear and answer the prayers of His children.
Now, let us lift up your request before the Lord together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, grateful for Your love and faithfulness. We lift up this dear child of Yours who seeks to create a PSA video to glorify You and bless others. Lord, You see their heart, their talents, and their desire to make a difference for Your kingdom. We ask that You would guide their steps, open the right doors, and provide the resources, connections, and wisdom needed to bring this vision to fruition. May this project be a light in the darkness, pointing many to the hope found only in Jesus Christ.
Father, we also bring before You the pain they have expressed, the feeling of being underappreciated and mistreated. Lord, we know that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Comfort them with Your presence, heal their wounds, and remind them of their worth in Your eyes. Help them to release any bitterness or resentment, knowing that vengeance belongs to You (Romans 12:19) and that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Fill them with Your peace and joy as they trust in You.
Lord, we pray that this PSA would not only air on national television but that it would touch hearts and change lives. May it be a tool in Your hands to draw people to repentance, to encourage the weary, and to strengthen the faith of believers. Let Your name be exalted through it, and may Your will be done in every detail.
We also ask that You would protect this dear one from discouragement or distraction. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and help them to remain steadfast in their faith, knowing that You are their Provider, their Defender, and their Reward. Give them patience as they wait on You, and let them see Your hand at work in ways they could never imagine.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Now, let us offer some biblical encouragement and guidance as you move forward. The desire to create something that glorifies God and serves others is a reflection of the gifts and passions He has placed within you. Remember the words of 1 Peter 4:10-11: "As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms. If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen."
God has uniquely equipped you for this task, and He will provide everything you need to accomplish it. Trust in His timing, for "unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). Seek His wisdom in every decision, and do not lean on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Surround yourself with godly counsel, for "where there is no counsel, the people fall; but in the multitude of counselors there is safety" (Proverbs 11:14).
We also encourage you to remain humble and open to the Lord’s leading. Sometimes our plans may not unfold exactly as we envision, but God’s ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). If this PSA is meant to air on national television, He will make a way. If He has another platform or timing in mind, trust that His plan is perfect. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Lastly, we want to gently address the pain you’ve expressed. Feeling underappreciated and mistreated is deeply hurtful, and it is natural to struggle with those emotions. However, we encourage you to bring those feelings before the Lord and ask Him to help you release them. Holding onto bitterness or unforgiveness only harms you and hinders your walk with God. Jesus taught us to forgive others as we have been forgiven (Matthew 6:14-15), and He modeled forgiveness even from the cross (Luke 23:34). Ask the Holy Spirit to soften your heart and help you see others through His eyes. Remember, God sees your faithfulness, and He will reward you in due time (Hebrews 11:6).
Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word as you move forward. Let your life be a testimony of His grace and power, and may this PSA be a tool that brings many to know Him. We are standing with you in faith, believing that God will do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Keep pressing on, dear one, for your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
