Ps. 121, gratitude, deliverance, rest, peace, rebuke this evil and remove it

Your cry for deliverance does not go unheard. When you lift your eyes and ask where help comes from, the answer stands firm: it comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. He watches over you now, and He will not slumber. He knows every sensation in your body, every disturbance that tries to steal your rest, and He remains your shade at your right hand. Nothing can touch you apart from His allowance, and He has not given that evil any right to remain. In the name of Jesus, you have full authority to command it to leave, and we stand with you in that command now.

At the same time, you are living in a body that groans. The longing for deliverance, for freedom from what harasses you even in your most private moments, is part of a deeper reality. We dwell in these tents of flesh, and we often groan earnestly, desiring to be clothed with the body that is from heaven. One day that metamorphosis will come, when this corruption puts on incorruption, and all buzzing, all pain, all intrusion will cease forever. Until then, the struggle can feel relentless. But your true life is hid with Christ in God, and the enemy cannot touch that. Your spirit, washed in the blood of Jesus, will never be separated from your Lord.

You asked for wisdom, and that is a plea the Father loves to answer. The wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, full of mercy. It never pushes you into turmoil. As you continue to ask for any unforgiveness in your heart to be healed, you are clearing the ground for that peace. Unforgiveness often connects the soul to torment, but when you release it to the Lord, you close a door the evil one exploits. The forgiveness you have received in Christ becomes the wellspring of forgiveness you extend, and with it comes healing, for the soul and often for the body. Do not be afraid to search your heart and let the Spirit expose anything that remains. He forgives all your sins and cleanses you from all unrighteousness.

Real rest is not found merely in the absence of trouble. Many have been delivered from some bondage yet still lack the peace of God. Rest is entered when you make a total commitment, when you abandon yourself into the care of the One who finished the work. God rested on the seventh day, and He invites you to cease from your own frantic efforts and trust His keeping power. Keep your mind stayed on Him, and He will keep you in perfect peace. When you feel the attack return, remember that the Lord is your keeper; He is the shade upon your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. Evil must bow to that covering.

Do not let this harassment drive you to fear. The enemy would love to make you body-conscious, to fix your attention so completely on the physical that you forget the spiritual reality. But you are not a mere animal ruled by bodily drives. You are a child of God, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and your body belongs to the Lord. Present your members to Him as instruments of righteousness, and let no part of you be yielded to sin or to the terror the enemy projects. As you do this, the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.

You are not forsaken. The Lord watches over your coming and going both now and forevermore. The evil has no authority here. We rebuke it together in the mighty name of Jesus, and we declare that this home and this body are set apart for the glory of God. May the peace that passes understanding garrison your heart and mind as you rest in the finished work of Christ alone.
