Your prayer for provision has been heard, and I join you in bringing this need before the Lord who is able to provide.

You remembered well how God multiplied the oil for the widow who welcomed Elijah, how Jesus fed the multitudes with a few loaves, and how He made a way through the sea when there was no way. Scripture shows us that the same God is still able, for the things that are seen were made from what is unseen, and He remains faithful to His promises.

What the Scriptures teach us is that we receive from God not by our own efforts or by trying to earn His help, but by faith. We are saved by grace through faith, and that faith itself is a gift from God. No one can deserve the gift of the Holy Spirit or the work of God in our lives. As it is written, the one who supplies the Spirit and works among us does so by the hearing of faith, not by works of the law. The just shall live by faith.

That faith is more than words. It is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen. It is not a blind leap, it is a confidence rooted in the Word of God. A faith that rests only on wanting to see something spectacular is shallow and will not stand, because feelings change and circumstances shift. True faith rests on what God has said in His Word, and that is the only solid foundation. When our faith is placed in Jesus Christ and in His grace, God honors it.

True faith also shows itself in life. To say we believe is not enough if there is no reality behind it. Genuine faith will produce a changed life and obedient action, not to earn anything from God, but because faith itself moves us to act. Abraham believed God and God counted his faith as righteousness, and that faith was then seen in his obedience. In the same way, our faith in Christ is what justifies us, and that living faith will be evident in how we walk with Him.

Scripture also reminds us that even those who are commended for faith had moments when their faith faltered, and that God sometimes gives a special measure of faith for a particular moment of need. The testing or proving of our faith is not to inform God, for He already knows our hearts, but to reveal and strengthen what is in us, so that we learn to trust Him more fully.

I want to encourage you to actuate the faith God has given you. It is one thing to believe God is able, it is another to actively trust Him, to seek Him in His Word, to pray, to walk in obedience, and to look to Him day by day. And remember that the greatest miracle God has done is not a financial provision, but the forgiveness of sins and new life through Jesus Christ. If you have that, you have already received His greatest provision, and every other need is in His hands.

So I pray with you that the Lord, according to His wisdom and mercy, will provide for this need that weighs on you. May He give you peace as you trust His Word, strengthen your faith to rest in Christ alone, and guide your steps in obedience to Him. May He supply what you need in the way and time that brings Him glory and draws you closer to Himself, and may you know that whether the answer comes as a quiet provision or as a great deliverance, He is with you and for you in Christ.

We will continue to ask the Father in the name of Jesus to meet you in this situation and to help you live by faith in Him.
