Proverbs, Chapter 4

4:1 Hear, [my] sons, the instruction of a father, And attend to know understanding:

4:2 For I give you+ good doctrine; Don't forsake+ my law.

4:3 For I was a son to my father, Tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.

4:4 And he taught me, and said to me: Let your heart retain my words; Keep my commandments, and live;

4:5 Get wisdom, get understanding; Don't forget, neither decline from the words of my mouth;

4:6 Don't forsake her, and she will preserve you; Love her, and she will keep you.

4:7 Wisdom [is] the principal thing; [therefore] get wisdom; Yes, with all your getting get understanding.

4:8 Exalt her, and she will promote you; She will bring you to honor, when you embrace her.

4:9 She will give to your head a chaplet of grace; A crown of beauty she will deliver to you.

4:10 Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; And the years of your life will be many.

4:11 I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in paths of uprightness.

4:12 When you go, your steps will not be straitened; And if you run, you will not stumble.

4:13 Take fast hold of instruction; don't let her go: Keep her; for she is your life.

4:14 Don't enter into the path of the wicked, And don't walk in the way of evil men.

4:15 Avoid it, don't pass by it; Turn from it, and pass on.

4:16 For they don't sleep, except they do evil; And their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall.

4:17 For they eat the bread of wickedness, And drink the wine of violence.

4:18 But the path of the righteous is as the dawning light, That shines more and more to the perfect day.

4:19 The way of the wicked is as darkness: They don't know at what they stumble.

4:20 My son, attend to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.

4:21 Don't let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart.

4:22 For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.

4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence; For out of it are the issues of life.

4:24 Put away from you a wayward mouth, And perverse lips put far from you.

4:25 Let your eyes look right on, And let your eyelids look straight before you.

4:26 Make level the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established.

4:27 Don't turn to the right hand nor to the left: Remove your foot from evil.

Oh the help without measure that comes from heaven above.  An ocean of riches that no one can hold on but to share it with others.  A storehouse unfailing of infinite treasures.  Proverbs is what brings the riches of the glory of the Lord.  A gift without a limit.  Unbounded by anything but by love to us.  Get wisdom, get understanding.... This only comes from Gods presence to lift us up when we are fallen down.  Exceeding, abundant grace that comes straight to us from Gods own heart.  We have nothing to do but to bow down before God.  His mercy is everlasting.  His love never fails.  His care is over us daily providing with blessing upon blessings.

Keep in God's presence, read his word and pray at all times, service for God is all we need not to feel empty

Without Gods mercy and love we would be the most miserable people on earth.  Without His favor and care we would be so lost in a world of sin.  But Jesus saved us all from depression and stress.  Give glory to God for what He has done for each one of us.  Do not enter into the path of the wicked.   That is the voice of God.  He is telling us to stay from evil and sin.  Grow deeper in the knowledge of His word and serve Him with all your heart, mind and soul

A home where love, joy, peace abound then the presence of the Lord is right there.  Within the heart of God a place beyond our own understanding anyone of us can dream  He love us with an everlasing love. He has given to us His word to ponder, to think deep thoughts of eternity and to obey what it says.   Gods children are there to worship Him and adore His name.  Hear o my son and receive my sayings....  says the Lord.  Whispering in our ears.  To follow Him, to serve Him and to do His will all the days of our lives.  There is a reward awaiting for all of us who listens and obeys His word.

Frail children of dust and and feeble as frail,  In Thee do we trust nor find Thee to fail.  In His ways trust Him with all your heart, mind and soul.   O blessed Jesus, we thank Yor for Your word today.  Get wisdom, get understanding.  From You alone it comes all wisdom and understanding.  Give us o Lord our daily bread and also wisdom that comes fron on high.  Amen

Live the truth of Gods own word.  Express your love to those who are unloved.  Specially sinners who reject Jesus.   Pray for them. Ask them to come Jesus.  Share your enthusiam for Jesus sake.  Your attitude will tell them how much you love Him more than anything in this world.  Take action towards what you read.  Do not let them depart from your eyes.  Keep them in the midst of your heart.  Embrace the blessings of the Lord.  The truth of God shall never ever end.  It is eternal.

In Christ alone, my hope is found.  He is my life, He is the sustainer of my whole being.  What I have found in this life is eternity at our feet.  Coming to Him is like going to heaven. Let us read His word, the letter He sent to us.  To live fo Him is to enjoy life while obeying His word. My son, attend to My words.  Incline your ear to My sayings.   Yes Lord.  We will attend to Your word.   Give us wisdom to understand all of them.

Let us all raise a new song unto the Lord our God.   A song of praise honor and glory to Him.  Songs of thanksgiving and new hope.  Afresh, anew where Jesus will smile over what we sing for HIm.   As we read His word, let us all thank Him for what He has done for us.  The path of a righteous man is like a dawning light.  That shines more and more to the perfect day.   O lord... make our life a shining light for Jesus.  So, others will see us and glorify God for what we are doing for Him.
