Proverbs, Chapter 28

28:1 The wicked flee when no man pursues; But the righteous are bold as a lion.

28:2 For the transgression of a land many are its princes; But by [a] man of understanding [and] knowledge the state [of it] will be prolonged.

28:3 A needy [noble] man who oppresses the poor Is [like] a sweeping rain which leaves no food.

28:4 Those who forsake the law praise the wicked; But such as keep the law contend with them.

28:5 Evil men don't understand justice; But those who seek Yahweh understand all things.

28:6 Better is the poor who walks in his integrity, Than he who is perverse in [his] ways, though he is rich.

28:7 Whoever keeps the law is a wise son; But he who is a shepherd of gluttons shames his father.

28:8 He who augments his substance by interest and increase, Gathers it for him who has pity on the poor.

28:9 He who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is disgusting.

28:10 Whoever causes the upright to go astray in an evil way, He will fall into his own pit; But the perfect will inherit good.

28:11 The rich man is wise in his own eyes; But the poor who has understanding searches him out.

28:12 When the righteous triumph, there is great glory; But when the wicked rise, man will hide.

28:13 He who covers his transgressions will not prosper: But whoever confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

28:14 Happy is [the] man who fears always; But he who hardens his heart will fall into mischief.

28:15 [As] a roaring lion, and a ranging bear, [so is] a wicked ruler over a poor people.

28:16 The leader who lacks understanding is also a great oppressor; [but] he who hates covetousness will prolong his days.

28:17 [A] man who is laden with the blood of any person Will flee to the pit; let no man uphold him.

28:18 Whoever walks uprightly will be delivered; But he who is perverse in [his] ways will fall at once.

28:19 He who tills his land will have plenty of bread; But he who follows after vanities will have poverty enough.

28:20 A faithful man will abound with blessings; But he who hurries to be rich will not be unpunished.

28:21 To show favoritism is not good; Neither that a [noble] man should transgress for a piece of bread.

28:22 He who has an evil eye hurries after riches, And does not know that want will come upon him.

28:23 He who rebukes man will afterward find more favor Than he who flatters with the tongue.

28:24 Whoever robs his father or his mother, and says, It is no transgression, The same is the partner of a destroyer.

28:25 He who is of a greedy spirit stirs up strife; But he who puts his trust in Yahweh will be made fat.

28:26 He who trusts in his own heart is a fool; But whoever walks wisely, he will be delivered.

28:27 He who gives to the poor will not lack; But he who hides his eyes will have many a curse.

28:28 When the wicked rise, man hides himself; But when they perish, the righteous increase.

A faithful man will abound with blessings. I want to be faithful to God all the days of my life. To see the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in His temple. Bless the Lord o my soul and all that is withing me. Bless His holy name. Amen

I am starting to give the poor not just the word of God but to feed them in a soup kitchen and to help those who need most.  Some are looking for jobs and others are already working because we have prayed for them.  Gods word says... He who gives to the poor will not lack.  Dear Jesus, please help us to be givers and not takers,  To pray for those who are out of a job and those who are in the streets begging for money.  Save their souls we pray in your name.  Amen

He who has an evil eye hurries unto riches.  Dear God, may I hurry after Jesus, He is my role model and He is my master.  Riches and honor of this world mean nothing because we will not be able to take this to glory.  Open our eyes to see the glory of the Lord coming down from heaven above.  We just bless and honor your holy name.  Amen

Our help is in the name of the Lord who made heaven and earth.  Psalm 124.8  How true this verse it is when we are in a lot of trouble in our lives.  When Satan gives us a hard time and we can not do anything about it.  Our help comes from the Lord Jesus who love us so much.  We need to pray and fast for those the Scriptures tell us to pray.    The wicked flee when no one pursues them.  Prov. 28.1a  Many wicked people are around running and trying to get away from some strange dark figure that pursues them.  It may be guilt, it may be some ugly lie that we said or unforgivness from their heart.  Please Jesus, save the souls of everyone who feels that someone is after them.  Take away their fears we pray.   Amen

Whoever keeps the law is a wise son.   Help me lord Jesus to keep Your law.  From the depths of my heart I ask that You will cleanse me and purify my heart from all sin.  I want to be all you want me to be.  I want to serve You as you would like me to serve.  I want to praise Your holy name.  Now and forever more. Amen

Lord Jesus, at Your service lies low Your servant who wants to do Thy will.  Lost, all lost in wonder of Your holy presence abiding in our hearts.  Seeing, touching and tasting Your mercy and love toward us.  On the cross of Calvary You spread Your arms and told us.  I have loved you with an everlasting love.  Thank You, thank you so much for such a sacrifice of love to us.  Your word says to us.  Whoever walks uprightly shall be delivered.  Prov. 28.18a   Deliver us o Lord from all temptations and evil.  Protect us we pray.  Amen

The rich man is wise in his own eyes.   No wonder Jesus told us not to trust in riches or the power that riches bring.  People are hungry to get more money and they are never satisfied with what they have.  The love of money is the root of all evil.   Let us all be content with what we have.  God will never ever leave us poor or destitute.
