Proverbs, Chapter 26

26:1 As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, So honor is not seemly for a fool.

26:2 As the sparrow in her wandering, as the swallow in her flying, So the curse that is causeless does not come.

26:3 A whip for the horse, a bridle for the donkey, And a rod for the back of fools.

26:4 Do not answer a fool according to his folly, Or else you will also be like him.

26:5 Answer a fool according to his folly, Or else he will be wise in his own eyes.

26:6 He who sends a message by the hand of a fool Cuts off [his own] feet, [and] drinks crime.

26:7 [As] the legs hang loose from a cripple: So is a parable in the mouth of fools.

26:8 As one who binds a stone in a sling, So is he who gives honor to a fool.

26:9 [As] a thorn that goes up into the hand of a drunkard, So is a parable in the mouth of fools.

26:10 [As] an archer that wounds all, So is he who hires a fool and he who hires those who pass by.

26:11 As a dog that returns to his vomit, [so is] a fool that repeats his folly.

26:12 Do you see a man wise in his own conceit? There is more hope of a fool than of him.

26:13 The sluggard says, There is a lion in the way; A lion is in the streets.

26:14 [As] the door turns on its hinges, So does the sluggard on his bed.

26:15 The sluggard buries his hand in the dish; It wearies him to bring it again to his mouth.

26:16 The sluggard is wiser in his own conceit Than seven men who can render a reason.

26:17 He who passes by, [and] is furious with strife not belonging to him, Is [like] one who takes a dog by the ears.

26:18 As a lunatic who casts firebrands, Arrows, and death,

26:19 So is the man who deceives his fellow man, And says, Am I not joking?

26:20 For lack of wood the fire goes out; And where there is no whisperer, contention ceases.

26:21 [As] coals are to hot embers, and wood to fire, So is a contentious man to inflame strife.

26:22 The words of a whisperer are as dainty morsels, And they go down into the innermost parts.

26:23 Fervent lips and a wicked heart Are [like] an earthen vessel overlaid with silver dross.

26:24 He who hates dissembles with his lips; But he lays up deceit inside him:

26:25 When he speaks fair, don't believe him; For there are seven disgusting things in his heart:

26:26 Though [his] hatred covers itself with guile, His wickedness will be openly shown before the assembly.

26:27 Whoever digs a pit will fall in it; And he who rolls a stone, it will return on him.

26:28 A lying tongue hates those whom it has wounded; And a flattering mouth works ruin.

O Lord, our Lord. How majestic is Your name in all the earth.  Psalm 81  Thank you Jesus for coming to our lives.  We feel Your holy presence wherever we go and whatever we do.  We praise You.  We thank You.  We adore Your holy name.  Thank you for your holy word today. As snow in summer, as rain in harverst. So honor is not seemingly for a fool.  Prov. 26.1  Any time, any place it is suitable to praise God.  Honor Him with all you have.  Bless His name wherever you are.  He will be with you even to the ends of the earth.  That is His promise.

I feel the burning in my soul to be closer to the heart of Jesus.

I know my hope will carry me through everything the devil brings to my life. Until the day with my God I will be, this world is empty and meaningless. Only Jesus fills my heart with joy. Do not answer a fool according to his folly. Prov. 26.4a Pray for all sinners to come to Jesus. He alone can chance them and save them. Amen

O how wondrous is the grace of God when He touches our lives and the lives of those who care.  Jesus took our place on Calvarys cross and now we must serve and adore His name all the days of our lives. Reading His word and obeying what it says. For lack of wood the fire goes out.  Prov. 26. 20a  Let us not allow the fire of the love of God go out of our lives.  He is the sustainer of our souls.

More durable Gods word stand.  For ages to come it will still be as fresh as we can feel.  Even the eternal hill will be scattered abroad but Gods word will stand forever.  Each word is a gem, a golden crown will be given to those who obey His word. Whoever digs a pit will fall in it.  Gods word will stand forever.  Do not dig pits for anyone. Instead help them get out of the pit of sin and evil.  All efforts to destroy Gods word will fail.  Gods holy word will still remain.

That is exactly the place where we need to go.  To Jesus arms. His holy presence makes us happy and joyful in HIm.  He is the One who will easy the whirlwind of troubles that come to our life.  When adversity slams on our door we shall call upon Him who will calm the waves of our soul.  When anxiety comes along our existence, then we shall cast the devil out and Jesus will reign in our hearts.  Do not answer a fool according to his folly.  Share Jesus with all the fools you may find anywhere.  All have come short to the glory of God and need to hear Gods voice through us.  Show the fruit unto holiness because wihout it we shall not see the Lord.

O for a thousand songs to sing, my great Redeemers praise  The glories of my God and king, the triumphs of His grace.  Jesus, the name that charms our fears, that bids our sorrows cease.  Tis music in the sinners ears, The life, and health and peace.  Glorious things of God are spoken through His word.  Whoever digs a pit, will fall in it.  Do not ever dig a pit for others, instead uphold them to the Lord and He will repay according to their deeds.  Pray for the salvation of their souls.  Ask Jesus to come to them and take them out of all troubles and tribulations they may be going through.

Remember me when I am gone away to heaven.  Remember me when I have loved Jesus more than anything in this world.  Remember me when I share Gods word with you and told you the truth that comes from Gods heart.  I will be gona away to a silent land where angels sing precious songs of praise and honor to God almighty.  O blessed Lord, how we long to see Your beautiful face.  In glorious praise shall we bow down in worship and adoration to You and You alone. For lack of wood the fire goes out.  Never ever o Lord let the fire of Your love goes out of our lilves.  May we rest in peace and live in the joy of Your holy presence all the days of our lives till You call us all home to glory.
