Proverbs, Chapter 25

25:1 These also are proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied out.

25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing; But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

25:3 As the heavens for height, and the earth for depth, So the heart of kings is unsearchable.

25:4 Take away the dross from the silver, And there comes forth a vessel for the refiner:

25:5 Take away the wicked [from] before the king, And his throne will be established in righteousness.

25:6 Don't put yourself forward in the presence of the king, And don't stand in the place of great men:

25:7 For it is better that it is said to you, Come up here, Than that you should be put lower in the presence of the prince, Whom your eyes have seen.

25:8 Don't hastily bring [it] to court, Or else what will you do in its end, When your fellow man has put you to shame.

25:9 Debate your cause with your fellow man [himself], And don't disclose the secret of another;

25:10 Or else he who hears it will revile you, And your infamy will not turn away.

25:11 A word fitly spoken Is [like] apples of gold in network of silver.

25:12 [As] an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, [so is] a wise reprover on an obedient ear.

25:13 As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, [so is] a faithful messenger to those who send him; For he refreshes the soul of his masters.

25:14 [As] clouds and wind without rain, [so is] he who boasts himself of his gifts falsely.

25:15 By long forbearing is a ruler persuaded, And a soft tongue breaks the bone.

25:16 Have you found honey? Eat so much as is sufficient for you, Or else you will be filled with it, and vomit it.

25:17 Let your foot be seldom in your fellow man's house, Or else he will be weary of you, and hate you.

25:18 A man who bears false witness against his fellow man Is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.

25:19 Confidence in a betrayer in time of trouble Is [like] a crumbling tooth, and an unsteady foot.

25:20 [As] vinegar on lye, and [as] smoke for the eyes, So is he who sings songs to a heavy heart.

25:21 If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink:

25:22 For you will heap coals of fire on his head, And Yahweh will reward you.

25:23 The north wind brings forth rain: So does a backbiting tongue an angry countenance.

25:24 It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, Than with a contentious woman in a wide house.

25:25 [As] cold waters to a thirsty soul, So is good news from a far country.

25:26 [As] a troubled fountain, and a corrupted spring, [so is] a righteous man who gives way before the wicked.

25:27 It is not good to eat much honey: And searching out their glory is glory.

25:28 He whose spirit is without restraint Is [like] a city that is broken down and without walls.

Whoever loves money never has money enough, whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with his income. This too is meaningless. Ecc. 5.10 May our love be for God and Him alone. All the things of the world will stay right here when we die, but the souls we have won for Jesus will be counted in heaven. Be a light that Jesus shines through you. Take away the dross from the silver. Prov. 25.4a Yes Jesus, take away the sin from each one of us and take away all kinds of temptations that the devil bring to our minds. In Jesus name Amen

Beloved, let us all act like we are blessed, talk like we have been blessed and let us all think like we are blessed. Jesus said. Blessed are the peace makers for they shall inherit the earth. Put actions behind your faith. Believe and it shall happen. Proverbs 25.21a If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat. Something beautiful will happen when we obey God's word. Helping our fellow human being will open up the gates of heaven where souls will see Jesus waiting for them with open arms. Let us all go after them and save as many of them for Jesus' sake.

Lead your children God's way so when they get old they will continue to love Jesus. The standards you set for your kids are the ones they will meet. Neglect to set standards for them it will be getting away from God and having no place to stand. Teach your children the way they should go and when they get old they will not depart from it. Proverbs 25.16a Have you found honey? Yes I have. It is the word of God. It is a delight to read every single day to my children God's word. Specially before they leave for school. They need to hear what Jesus is telling them and then apply to their own situations at school. Please God, bless our children, may your holy word become like honey to their lives. Amen

Nothing can separate from the love of God. Rom 8.38 Remain in His love and serve Him with all of your heart as song leader or an usher in the house of God. It is not good to eat too much honey. Prov. 25.27a Eating too much of anything will make you sick. So, let us eat what it is proper and enough for our well being. Jesus is the bread of life, we must eat the bread that He give us daily.

Those who walk with God always reach their destination. If you go the wrong way, Jesus will tell you to turn back and start all over again. If you walk in the light we have fellowship one with another. Let us all start walking in the way Jesus taught us to walk. Prov. 25.8a Do not hastily bring it to court.. Pray for them who did you wrong. Do not take them to court to get judged by men. God will judge each one of us according to what we did on earth.
