Proverbs, Chapter 25

25:1 These also are proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied out.

25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing; But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

25:3 As the heavens for height, and the earth for depth, So the heart of kings is unsearchable.

25:4 Take away the dross from the silver, And there comes forth a vessel for the refiner:

25:5 Take away the wicked [from] before the king, And his throne will be established in righteousness.

25:6 Don't put yourself forward in the presence of the king, And don't stand in the place of great men:

25:7 For it is better that it is said to you, Come up here, Than that you should be put lower in the presence of the prince, Whom your eyes have seen.

25:8 Don't hastily bring [it] to court, Or else what will you do in its end, When your fellow man has put you to shame.

25:9 Debate your cause with your fellow man [himself], And don't disclose the secret of another;

25:10 Or else he who hears it will revile you, And your infamy will not turn away.

25:11 A word fitly spoken Is [like] apples of gold in network of silver.

25:12 [As] an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, [so is] a wise reprover on an obedient ear.

25:13 As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, [so is] a faithful messenger to those who send him; For he refreshes the soul of his masters.

25:14 [As] clouds and wind without rain, [so is] he who boasts himself of his gifts falsely.

25:15 By long forbearing is a ruler persuaded, And a soft tongue breaks the bone.

25:16 Have you found honey? Eat so much as is sufficient for you, Or else you will be filled with it, and vomit it.

25:17 Let your foot be seldom in your fellow man's house, Or else he will be weary of you, and hate you.

25:18 A man who bears false witness against his fellow man Is a maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow.

25:19 Confidence in a betrayer in time of trouble Is [like] a crumbling tooth, and an unsteady foot.

25:20 [As] vinegar on lye, and [as] smoke for the eyes, So is he who sings songs to a heavy heart.

25:21 If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink:

25:22 For you will heap coals of fire on his head, And Yahweh will reward you.

25:23 The north wind brings forth rain: So does a backbiting tongue an angry countenance.

25:24 It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, Than with a contentious woman in a wide house.

25:25 [As] cold waters to a thirsty soul, So is good news from a far country.

25:26 [As] a troubled fountain, and a corrupted spring, [so is] a righteous man who gives way before the wicked.

25:27 It is not good to eat much honey: And searching out their glory is glory.

25:28 He whose spirit is without restraint Is [like] a city that is broken down and without walls.

Praise ye the Lord.  O give thanks unto the Lord for He is good.  For His mercy endureth forever.  Psalm 105.1  If we just learn how to praise God in our home, at work, in the street and wherever place we are, then Jesus will use us in a mighty way to save souls that are going to hell.  Dear God, use me for your glory and honor.   A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in network of silver.  Prov. 25.11   Let us use our words to bless God and others will see and feel Gods presence in it.  Use us LOrd Jesus this coming week.  Make us a blessing to all we meet.  Amen

Do not hastily bring them to court. Prov. 25.8a Instead of bringinging those souls to court of law, pray for the salvation and restoration of Jesus in their hearts. Jesus will heal them and forgive their sins. Dear God, save the souls of all those who are in jail and those who are doing the wrong thing. Bring them all to church we pray. Amen

Dear Jesus, we pray for our senior citizens who need someone to read the word of God.  Please send people to them and sing songs of praise.  We love to hear Gods word spoken through faithful servants of the lviing God. Let be your foot seldom in your fellows house.   says your word.   May my feet be swift to help those who need it.  Give us wisdom and guide where we are needed most.  In Jesus name.  Amen

If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat.  Jesus gave a perfect example on how to love our enemies.  On the cross Jesus prayed.  Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do.  We, as true followers of Christ should do the samething.  Loving our enemies, praying for them, inviting them to come to church.  Our next door neighbors need Gods mercy.  Let us all take our friends, coworkers and everyone else to the house of the Lord to worship and to be delivered from bondage of sin.   Amen
