Proverbs, Chapter 23

23:1 When you sit to eat with a ruler, Consider diligently him who is before you;

23:2 And put a knife to your throat, If you are a man given to appetite.

23:3 Don't be desirous of his dainties; Seeing they are deceitful food.

23:4 Don't weary yourself to be rich; Cease from your own wisdom.

23:5 Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For [riches] certainly make themselves wings, Like an eagle that flies toward heaven.

23:6 Don't eat the bread of him who has an evil eye, Neither desire his dainties:

23:7 For as he thinks inside himself, so he is: Eat and drink, he says to you; But his heart is not with you.

23:8 The morsel which you have eaten you will vomit up, And lose your sweet words.

23:9 Don't speak in the hearing of a fool; For he will despise the wisdom of your words.

23:10 Don't remove the ancient landmark; And don't enter into the fields of the fatherless:

23:11 For their Redeemer is strong; He will plead their cause against you.

23:12 Apply your heart to instruction, And your ears to the words of knowledge.

23:13 Do not withhold correction from the child; [For] if you beat him with the rod, he will not die.

23:14 You will beat him with the rod, And will deliver his soul from Sheol.

23:15 My son, if your heart be wise, My heart will be glad, even mine:

23:16 Yes, my heart will rejoice, When your lips speak right things.

23:17 Don't let your heart envy sinners; But [be] in the fear of Yahweh all the day long:

23:18 For surely there is a reward; And your hope will not be cut off.

23:19 Hear, my son, and be wise, And guide your heart in the way.

23:20 Don't be among winebibbers, Among gluttonous eaters of flesh:

23:21 For the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty; And drowsiness will clothe [a man] with rags.

23:22 Listen to your father who begot you, And don't despise your mother when she is old.

23:23 Buy the truth, and don't sell it; [Yes,] wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.

23:24 The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; And he who begets a wise child will have joy of him.

23:25 Let your father and your mother be glad, And let her who bore you rejoice.

23:26 My son, give me your heart; And let your eyes delight in my ways.

23:27 For a prostitute is a deep ditch; And a foreign woman is a narrow pit.

23:28 Yes, she lies in wait as a robber, And increases the betrayers among man.

23:29 Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has contentions? Who has complaining? Who has wounds without cause? Who has redness of eyes?

23:30 Those who tarry long at the wine; Those who go to seek out mixed wine.

23:31 Don't look on the wine when it is red, When it sparkles in the cup, When it goes down smoothly:

23:32 At the last it bites like a serpent, And stings like an adder.

23:33 Your eyes will see strange things, And your heart will utter perverse things.

23:34 Yes, you will be as he who lies down in the midst of the sea, Or as he who lies on the top of a mast.

23:35 They have stricken me, [you will say], and I was not hurt; They have beaten me, and I did not feel it: When shall I awake? I will seek it yet again.

Thank you dear God for all your blessing. You father are good and perfect, I pray that you lift my uneasiness and stress with the adversity in my life lord. I ask you to work in my life in even more wonderful ways so that I may better serve and help others. Amen.

It was so silent and so still. The small voice of God talking to my ears. Like white snow falling down to the ground. The blessings of God comes to us all. Listening to Gods voice is the most interesting and enjoyable moment we can have. He said to my heart. Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted in the earth. Hoping and waiting for Jesus to appear. Coming down in the clouds to takes us home to be with Him forever. 23.15 My son, if your heart be wise. My heart will be glad, even mine. What a wonderful promise from God. We are sons and daughters of the most high God. And He loves us with an everlasting love. Let us all make Gods heart glad by being wise.   How can we make Gods heart wise?  The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord. Let us all come to His gates with thanksgiving and to his portals with praise. Worship and adore His holy name. Constant hunger for Him and constant thirst for His word. Let us put His name first in our lives. Amen

I wake up this morning with the light of God shining upon me. It was the sun coming out of the clouds. The cold weather was going away and the warmth of Jesus love was giving me a new hope. I find myself so happy and content for what God was doing in my life and those who surround me.  Then a thought came to my mind. Do good to others and good will happen to you. If you fathers and mothers are good to your children... how much more our Heavenly Father will be towards us. His dearly beloved child. Hapiness will surround more than you can chew because you have set your heart to seeking God early in the morning, at midday and in the night. 23.4  Do not weary yourself to be rich. Cease from your own wisdom.  The only treasure we really have is the Word of God and the souls we have won for Jesus. That we will take to eternity.  The rest, ... the house,... the boat.. the car, the farm and everything else will stay right here. On earth.  Jesus, oh my Jesus. Please give us wisdom to think about eternity. To be with you in heaven for ever and ever more. Amen

Oh my God .. this worlds problems are so complicated and we do not have a way to run.. but to You. My lord and saviour. We are not able to make a way without your guidance and mercy. We depend on You alone because the help of man is not worthy it. We trust and believe in the miracles you made long time ago and now it is so refreshing to see your hand of compassion on those who need You in the midst of their problems. Quicken my mind and deepen my understanding on your word. So I will not sin against you. Most merciful and kind Father of the fatherless and protector of widows. Help me hear your voice and heed your advise. In the middle of the night I wake up to feel your holy presence and the still small voice talking to me. Be not afraid..  . I am with you always. Even to then df the world.  My son, if your heart be wise, My heart will be glad. Even mine. 23.15  This is the voice of God that speaks to us through His word. Let us all be wise and hear God speaking to us through His word.  Lord Jesus, please help to hear your advise and walk in the narrow path that leads to heaven. One day... that will be the hapiness ever more when we will see you face to face in glory. We will sing praises to your holy name. Amen

The Bible is the book that you should read to overcome depression. God wants you to live joyous and prosperous life. We are here on earth only for a short period of time. Years go away fast and we grow old and eventually will fly away to be with God forever. He is our heavenly Father and wants to heal your broken heart and give you new hope in life. So let us start living the true Christian life. Serving God in any way posible. May be you can volunteer in a homeless shelter, or be a teachers aid. You can pick up the offering at your church and volunteer to clean up the sancturary.  God want to use your talents. May be you can sing songs of praise and honor to God. Whatever is in your heand to do it. Do it with your whole heart. 23.12  Apply your heart to instruction And your ears to the words of knowledge. What a wonderful precept to follow.  Dear God may my heart always be towards you and do your will. No matter what the situation I am in. I want to serve you and praise your holy namel. I believe and trust in your word. In Jesus name. Amen

Dear God, help me to straighten up my finantial problems. A lot of things are so expensive and I spend so much on things that I do not need it. Help me to save more of my salary instead of spending for no reason at all. I place before your holy throne all the finantial needs people have. Student loans, car loans, morgages and credit card loans. Please Jesus save the souls of those who spend so much. You give us so much blessings and we are spending it on useless things. Help me to feed the hungry, clothe the naked and visit the sick in the hospitals and nursing homes. May my church be a blessing to other also. Prov. 23.4 Do not weary yourself to be rich. Let mine eyes be on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith and not on the things of this world. Wordly riches and glory will mean nothing in the sight of God. The only thing we are gona take to eternity it is... the eternal word of God engraved in our hearts and souls and the souls that we took to the feet of Jesus for salvation.
