Proverbs, Chapter 19

19:1 Better is the poor who walks in his integrity Than he who is perverse in his lips and is a fool.

19:2 Also, without knowledge the soul is not good; And he who hurries with his feet sins.

19:3 The foolishness of man subverts his way; And his heart frets against Yahweh.

19:4 Wealth adds many companions; But the poor is separated from his companion.

19:5 A false witness will not be unpunished; And he who utters lies will not escape.

19:6 Many will entreat the favor of the liberal man; And every man is a companion to him who gives gifts.

19:7 All the brothers of the poor hate him: How much more do his friends go far from him! He pursues [them with] words, [but] they are gone.

19:8 He who gets wisdom loves his own soul: He who keeps understanding will find good.

19:9 A false witness will not be unpunished; And he who utters lies will perish.

19:10 Delicate living is not seemly for a fool; Much less for a slave to have rule over princes.

19:11 The discretion of man makes him slow to anger; And it is his glory to pass over a transgression.

19:12 The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; But his favor is as dew on the grass.

19:13 A foolish son is the calamity of his father; And the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping.

19:14 House and riches are an inheritance from fathers; But a prudent wife is from Yahweh.

19:15 Slothfulness casts into a deep sleep; And the idle soul will suffer hunger.

19:16 He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul; [but] he who is careless of his ways will die.

19:17 He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh, And his good deed he will pay him again.

19:18 Chasten your son, seeing there is hope; And don't set your heart on his destruction.

19:19 A man of great wrath will bear the penalty; For if you deliver [him], you must do it yet again.

19:20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, That you may be wise in your latter end.

19:21 There are many devices in a man's heart; But the counsel of Yahweh, that will stand.

19:22 That which makes man to be desired is his kindness; And a poor man is better than a liar.

19:23 The fear of Yahweh, [leads] to life And he [who has it] will reside satisfied; He will not be visited with evil.

19:24 The sluggard buries his hand in the dish, And will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.

19:25 Strike a scoffer, and the simple will learn prudence; And reprove one who has understanding, [and] he will understand knowledge.

19:26 He who does violence to his father, and chases away his mother, Is a son who causes shame and brings reproach.

19:27 Cease, my son, to hear instruction [Only] to err from the words of knowledge.

19:28 A worthless witness mocks at justice; And the mouth of the wicked swallows iniquity.

19:29 Judgments are prepared for scoffers, And stripes for the back of fools.

And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them.  And they were terrible frightened. But the angel said unto them. Do not be afraid. For behold I bring you good tiding of great joy.   The joy that Jesus brings to our hearts is what people need today.  At this time of the year a lot of our friends and coworkers feel so alone, so forsaken by their relatives because they have not called them in a long time and they feel that life means nothing.  Jesus is the answer for all their loneliness.  He came to us to give us joy in life.  A friend that sticks closer than a brother.  Proverbs 19.20a Hear counsel and receive instruction.  If we read the word of God daily and obey what is says then we will be drawing closer to God.  He want us all to give us instructions every day.  Read His word and you will feel better.

Parents are responsible for the moral and biblical instruction of their children at home and at church. Bus as we see them today, parents are working two shifts and making overtime to make ends meet with morgage, utility bills, school bills, and many more expenses. Who will teach your children the truth of the bible? Please parents send all your children to Christian schools so at least there they will have the basis of morality and biblical instruction for the rest or their lives. Proverbs 19.13a A foolish son is the calamity of his father. If parents are not instructing their children in the ways of God then they will grow up as a wild herbs that needed to be cut. PLease pray for all our children who need Jesus today. That God will lead them through the right road in life and choose to serve Jesus instead of the world.

He should have been miserable and bitter. He had every right to be in a profound boiling anger. But he did not. He thought.. would Jesus be angered at the false prophesies and the half truths so called preachers are telling us?   Let us all pray that Jesus will show them the way of truth and life because lost souls are going to hell because of lies and half truths.  Proverbs 19.18a  Chasen your son, seeing there is hope.  Our children need to see a postive example of holy and pure lves in each parent and they will follow you through life fearing God and keeping His commandments.

Never look godlier at church than you were at home because people are gona think that you have two personalities. One. The nice holier than thou and Two. The ugly one who misbehaves at home or treats others with disrespect. Our attitude should be one in Jesus. If God has cleansed your heart from inside out then each member of your family including the pet will know the change that has hapened in your life. We are an open book. People read our actions and our reactions. Let us all be like Jesus. Praying all the time. Meditating on the word and staying in close contact with the Father. Judgement are prapared for scoffers. Prov. 19.29a Before God judge all scoffers, sinners, backsliders and mockers of the word of God, we should pray for salvation of their souls. God is a merciful and kind and will forgive all the sins they have committed.

Wealth adds many companions. Proverbs 19.4a Let us use our wealth to spread the gospel to every creature there is. All the blessings God has given to us should be used for His glory and honor. We have nothing at all without God. Our righteousness are like filthy rags but God give us wisdom how to use what He has given us. My house belongs to Jesus and it is to be used for prayer and for bible study. My car also belongs to God. I will pick up all my friends and neighbors and take them to church.

We practice apologetics all the time when we defend our faith in front of others and tell the truth about Jesus life, sayings and what He want us to do with our own lives.  He is our leader and we should follow Him no matter what happens to the world.  Heaven and earth will pass away, but His words will not pass away.  Trust Him all the time and everywhere.  Proverbs 19.20  Hear counsel and receive instruction. That you may be wise in your latter end.  Jesus want to give us the best in life and enjoy His holy presence while we serve Him with our whole heart and soul. Let us hear Him speak to our heart and obey His word.

I will sing of the Lords mercy for ever with my mouth will I make known Thy faithfulness to all generations.   What a wonderful verse God gave me this morning.  I have learned that singing praises and glorifying God in our lives, we will have a peaceful day and Jesus will be glorified in our lives. Proverbs 19.14b  But a prudent wife is from Yahweh.  God has given each one of us a spouse that fears God.  Loves children, teaches Sunday school, treat others with kindness and they love to read the bible to their children and pray with them and for them.  Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.  Blessed be the Lord our God now and forever. Amen
