Proverbs, Chapter 19

19:1 Better is the poor who walks in his integrity Than he who is perverse in his lips and is a fool.

19:2 Also, without knowledge the soul is not good; And he who hurries with his feet sins.

19:3 The foolishness of man subverts his way; And his heart frets against Yahweh.

19:4 Wealth adds many companions; But the poor is separated from his companion.

19:5 A false witness will not be unpunished; And he who utters lies will not escape.

19:6 Many will entreat the favor of the liberal man; And every man is a companion to him who gives gifts.

19:7 All the brothers of the poor hate him: How much more do his friends go far from him! He pursues [them with] words, [but] they are gone.

19:8 He who gets wisdom loves his own soul: He who keeps understanding will find good.

19:9 A false witness will not be unpunished; And he who utters lies will perish.

19:10 Delicate living is not seemly for a fool; Much less for a slave to have rule over princes.

19:11 The discretion of man makes him slow to anger; And it is his glory to pass over a transgression.

19:12 The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; But his favor is as dew on the grass.

19:13 A foolish son is the calamity of his father; And the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping.

19:14 House and riches are an inheritance from fathers; But a prudent wife is from Yahweh.

19:15 Slothfulness casts into a deep sleep; And the idle soul will suffer hunger.

19:16 He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul; [but] he who is careless of his ways will die.

19:17 He who has pity on the poor lends to Yahweh, And his good deed he will pay him again.

19:18 Chasten your son, seeing there is hope; And don't set your heart on his destruction.

19:19 A man of great wrath will bear the penalty; For if you deliver [him], you must do it yet again.

19:20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, That you may be wise in your latter end.

19:21 There are many devices in a man's heart; But the counsel of Yahweh, that will stand.

19:22 That which makes man to be desired is his kindness; And a poor man is better than a liar.

19:23 The fear of Yahweh, [leads] to life And he [who has it] will reside satisfied; He will not be visited with evil.

19:24 The sluggard buries his hand in the dish, And will not so much as bring it to his mouth again.

19:25 Strike a scoffer, and the simple will learn prudence; And reprove one who has understanding, [and] he will understand knowledge.

19:26 He who does violence to his father, and chases away his mother, Is a son who causes shame and brings reproach.

19:27 Cease, my son, to hear instruction [Only] to err from the words of knowledge.

19:28 A worthless witness mocks at justice; And the mouth of the wicked swallows iniquity.

19:29 Judgments are prepared for scoffers, And stripes for the back of fools.

Today I heard God saying to all of us... if you are selfish and do not want to share what I have given you... then you are far away from my Word. People of your neighborhood need to hear the Gospel. Hungry people need to be fed, sick ones need to be conforted and read the Bible to them. Those in jail need to hear God speaking to their souls. Which of these things are we doing for Him who saved us and given us eternal life?  The idle soul suffer hunger. 19.15. Lord Jesus help us not be idle, lazy or just not want to work for You. Please help us and let us go to a feeding center and feed the hungry, clothe the naked and visit the sick. Let us show the world our faith and work for You when do something for others. Please come to our hearts and souls and speak to us every single day of our lives. We are heading for heaven above and our home is not on this earth. So let us keep our eyes on Jesus and serve Him with our whole hearts and souls. In Jesus name. Amen

I just want to rest where He puts me. I want to do His will wherever He sends me. Only to be what He made me. A beatiful child of the almighty God. I do not come from monkeys or gorillas. I come from the hand who formed me in my mothers womb. You oh Lord saw me down deep where you formed me long time ago. Though I be nothing still, I am ready for His work where ever He leads. Never to look beyond me, only to see His smiling face telling me... well done, faithful and loving servant. Oh what a joy it will be, to be with Him for ever in heaven above. 19.16 He who keeps his commandments, keeps his soul.  Let me keep all the commandments you have written long time ago. It is fresh and it is alive even thugh has passed milliniums and we today can read the word. Heaven and earth will pass away but my words will never pass away.

I want to work so hard for God and be filled with the Holy Spirit to give hope to others. The world offer empty promises and we do not have to listen to it. But Gods promises are for eternity. Our future home will be heaven above so I must strive to get there through the power of God in me. Prov. 19.16  He who keeps His commandments keeps his soul. I want to keep His commandments to the fullest extent of the word of God. PLease Jesus help me do this. In Jesus name. Amen

verse 19:5 fits perfectly to what has been going on in my family.  I wasn't going to read the chapter, I was about to leave the site to do laundry but my finger clicked it anyway and 5 sprang out to me. Thank You Father for sending me to the page.

It is time for us all to step up to the standards of holines that God set up and let His truth shine through us so people that do not know Jesus may glorify God when they see our good works. We should strive only for the very best. God has given us wisdom and understanding to do His will. Let us return to the beauty of His holiness. In love, honor and worship of His holy name. He alone is our Father and we as His dear children should be working so hard to please Him in all we do and say. He who gets wisdom loves his own soul. He who keeps understanding will find good. Prov. 19.8 Dear God, please bless us all with wisdom and understanding. To love you more than anything in this world we pray. In Jesus name. Amen

Wonderful Jesus, thank you so much for the grace that you have given to us. Have guided us in our services and sent the Holy Spirit to be our conforter. Specially those who suffer untold pain of loneliness, fear of loosing their jobs and those who are broken hearted because their wife of husband has left them. We pray for all of them. Please let them read the Proverbs and be blessed by it. We pray in Jesus name. Amen

WHAT DO YOU THINK: God's blessings are on those who keep His commandments, and His curse is upon those of disobedience. Even if self-preservation were the reason you were obeying, you would not be disappointed. God cannot, and will not, lie. If He promises blessings, you can depend upon them. Amen!!!

Glorious Jesus, fill us with your love and compassion in our hearts. So many will come to know you and praise you holy name. Proverbs 19.13 A foolish son is the calamity of his father.  Jesus, save the souls of all our children. They need you right now. Please bring them all to church and save them.

You are chose, adopted, redeemed by Jesus. We should always be grateful to God for such a wonderful savior we have. Blessed Jesus. Save the souls of the homeless, the ones who lost their jobs. Be with us in our services we pray. Better is the poor who walks in his integrity. Prov. 19.1
