Proverbs, Chapter 14

14:1 Every wise woman builds her house; But the foolish plucks it down with her own hands.

14:2 He who walks in his uprightness fears Yahweh; But he who is perverse in his ways despises him.

14:3 In the mouth of the foolish is a rod for [his] pride; But the lips of the wise will preserve them.

14:4 Where no oxen are, the crib is clean; But much increase is by the strength of the ox.

14:5 A faithful witness will not lie; But a false witness utters lies.

14:6 A scoffer seeks wisdom, and it is not [found]; But knowledge is easy to him who has understanding.

14:7 Go into the presence of a foolish man, And you will not perceive [in him] the lips of knowledge.

14:8 The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way; But the folly of fools is deceit.

14:9 A trespass-offering mocks fools; But among the upright there is goodwill.

14:10 The heart knows its own bitterness; And a stranger does not intermeddle with its joy.

14:11 The house of the wicked will be overthrown; But the tent of the upright will flourish.

14:12 There is a way which seems right to a man; But its end are the ways of death.

14:13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; And the end of mirth is heaviness.

14:14 The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways; And a good man [will be satisfied] from himself.

14:15 The simple believes every word; But the prudent man looks well to his going.

14:16 A wise man fears, and departs from evil; But the fool is furious and confident.

14:17 He who is soon angry will deal foolishly; And a man of wicked devices is hated.

14:18 The simple inherit folly; But the prudent are crowned with knowledge.

14:19 The evil bow down before the good; And the wicked, at the gates of the righteous.

14:20 The poor is hated even of his own fellow man; But the rich has many friends.

14:21 He who despises his fellow man sins; But he who has pity on the poor, he is happy.

14:22 Do they not err who devise evil? But mercy and truth [will be to] those who devise good.

14:23 In all labor there is profit; But the talk of the lips [tends] only to poverty.

14:24 The crown of the wise is their riches; [but] folly is the diadem of fools.

14:25 A true witness delivers souls; But he who utters lies [causes] deceit.

14:26 In the fear of Yahweh is strong confidence; And his sons will have a place of refuge.

14:27 The fear of Yahweh is a fountain of life, That one may avoid the snares of death.

14:28 In the multitude of people is the king's glory; But in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.

14:29 He who is slow to anger is of great understanding; But he who is in a hurry of spirit exalts folly.

14:30 A tranquil heart is the life of the flesh; But envy is the rottenness of the bones.

14:31 He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker; But he who has mercy on the needy honors him.

14:32 The wicked is thrust down in his evildoing; But the righteous has a refuge in his death.

14:33 Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding; But [that which is] in the inward part of fools is made known.

14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation; But sin is a reproach to any people.

14:35 The king's favor is toward a slave who deals wisely; But his wrath will be [against] him who causes shame.

On Sunday Jesus entered Jerusalem triumphantly and the shouts of Hosannah blessed be the One who comes in the name of the Lord was heard throughout the whole land. Jesus made known that He is the Son of God and wanted to save us from all our sins.  On Monday, Jesus heart was hurt when He saw the temple of God made a thieves haven where all cheaters, liers and scammers were doing business as usual.  Jesus became so angry and yelled. My house is a house of prayer and you have made it a den of thieves.  What picuture of love for the house of God.  Do we love the house of God just as Jesus did?  Are we taking sinners to salvation in Jesus Chrsit?  Proverbs 14.22a  Do not err who devise evil?  Those who gave away Jesus to die on the cross were doing what the prophets have foretold many thousand of years ago.  Let us all pray for those who err and are far away from God to get saved and to be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8.1 Beloved, this is nice to know that we are heading to heaven together we will ses Jesus face to face. Our names are written in the Book of Life and God will give us a crown of life. Blessed be His name now and forever more. Amen

A faithful witness will not lie. But a false witness utters lies.  Proverbs 13.5  God wants each one of us to be faithful to the end.  Not uttering lies or making false statements.  Let us pray for those who love to lie all the time and need Jesus in their heart.  Save the souls of all liers, thieves, cheats and inpersonators.  In Jesus name. Amen

For Thou art my rock and my fortress.  Therefore, for Thy names sake lead and guide me. Psalm 31.3   Wisdom rests in him who has understanding.  Prov. 14.33a  This two verses touched my heart this morning.  God is my rock and fortress.  He gives understanding to those who fear His name.  Praise and honor be to Him now and forever more.  Amen

Do not get drunk with wine which leads to debouchery.  Instead be filled with the Holy Spirit of God.  Eph. 5.18   To cast out devils that come at night and makes us miserable.  In Jesus name, cast all devils out of your room.  Pray for those who suffer persecution and loss.   A tranquil heart is the life of the flesh.  Prov. 14.30a   May the peace of God fill your heart today as you pray and obey Gods word.  Amen

You were made by God and for God.  He wants to use all your talents for His glory and honor.  He wants you to be a beautiful child who loves Him and serve Him with all of her heart.  Prov. 14.18a  The simple inherit folly.   This people needs our prayers and if you see any of the simple people at work, or in the street.  Invite them to church and show them the way to heaven.

God will always provide you with all you need. It might look like nothing is hapenning. But God has a timing for your life and He will send you blessings that you will not be able to hold it. Go into the presence of a foolish man. Prov. 14.7a Share Jesus with all you find in the park. Specially the homeless, the drunks and those who are hungry. Pick them up and take them to church to hear Gods word. They are lost and need someone to help them.
