Proverbs, Chapter 14

14:1 Every wise woman builds her house; But the foolish plucks it down with her own hands.

14:2 He who walks in his uprightness fears Yahweh; But he who is perverse in his ways despises him.

14:3 In the mouth of the foolish is a rod for [his] pride; But the lips of the wise will preserve them.

14:4 Where no oxen are, the crib is clean; But much increase is by the strength of the ox.

14:5 A faithful witness will not lie; But a false witness utters lies.

14:6 A scoffer seeks wisdom, and it is not [found]; But knowledge is easy to him who has understanding.

14:7 Go into the presence of a foolish man, And you will not perceive [in him] the lips of knowledge.

14:8 The wisdom of the prudent is to understand his way; But the folly of fools is deceit.

14:9 A trespass-offering mocks fools; But among the upright there is goodwill.

14:10 The heart knows its own bitterness; And a stranger does not intermeddle with its joy.

14:11 The house of the wicked will be overthrown; But the tent of the upright will flourish.

14:12 There is a way which seems right to a man; But its end are the ways of death.

14:13 Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful; And the end of mirth is heaviness.

14:14 The backslider in heart will be filled with his own ways; And a good man [will be satisfied] from himself.

14:15 The simple believes every word; But the prudent man looks well to his going.

14:16 A wise man fears, and departs from evil; But the fool is furious and confident.

14:17 He who is soon angry will deal foolishly; And a man of wicked devices is hated.

14:18 The simple inherit folly; But the prudent are crowned with knowledge.

14:19 The evil bow down before the good; And the wicked, at the gates of the righteous.

14:20 The poor is hated even of his own fellow man; But the rich has many friends.

14:21 He who despises his fellow man sins; But he who has pity on the poor, he is happy.

14:22 Do they not err who devise evil? But mercy and truth [will be to] those who devise good.

14:23 In all labor there is profit; But the talk of the lips [tends] only to poverty.

14:24 The crown of the wise is their riches; [but] folly is the diadem of fools.

14:25 A true witness delivers souls; But he who utters lies [causes] deceit.

14:26 In the fear of Yahweh is strong confidence; And his sons will have a place of refuge.

14:27 The fear of Yahweh is a fountain of life, That one may avoid the snares of death.

14:28 In the multitude of people is the king's glory; But in the want of people is the destruction of the prince.

14:29 He who is slow to anger is of great understanding; But he who is in a hurry of spirit exalts folly.

14:30 A tranquil heart is the life of the flesh; But envy is the rottenness of the bones.

14:31 He who oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker; But he who has mercy on the needy honors him.

14:32 The wicked is thrust down in his evildoing; But the righteous has a refuge in his death.

14:33 Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding; But [that which is] in the inward part of fools is made known.

14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation; But sin is a reproach to any people.

14:35 The king's favor is toward a slave who deals wisely; But his wrath will be [against] him who causes shame.

With my whole heart have I sought Thee. Psalm 119.10 My heart is full of joy when I enter into the holy presence of God Almighty. He alone can solve all our problems we might have. Every single morning I call on His name and He answers according to His will. This is the kind of heart we should have if we are truly honest and want to serve Jesus no matter what people are saying about us or there is opposition and denial about God. We should be loyal to our oath we made to God. Serving Him with our whole heart. Prov. 14.16 A wise man fears and departs from evil. Lord Jesus I want to depart from evil every time temptations come.. then it time to call on Jesus to ask if this is the right thing to do. With my whole heart I have sought Thee Oh God. I will walk in the light of your countenance. Is my prayer today.

Do you want to know the end of everything?  Well, the bible tells it all. I am the Alpha and Omega, says the Lord God. Who is and who was and who is to come. The Almighty. Rev. 1.8  This is our eternal hope that we may believe in Him who is, who was and who is to come. Blessed Jesus, we are hoping in your soon coming back to earth. Let our hearts and eyes be on you at all time at home, at work and even in the streets. To share the goodness of the Lord Jesus in our lives and salvation that reaches to all of us sinners in the hands of Almighty God. Forgive us our traspasses as we forgive those who traspass on us.  A faithful witness will not lie. Prov. 14.5  I want to be your faithful witness to the end of the world. We are called to be a light to the gentiles and to be faithful to the end. Then the crown of life will be given to us who have served God throughout our lives. Blessed be the Lord God for ever and ever. amen

Every wise woman builds her house. Prov. 14.1  Any man wants to marry a woman that fears the Lord Jesus. She is a woman of prayer and bible teacher. She uses all her talent to the glory and honor to God. She builds her house from the bottom up and she is ready for anything God wants her. Just like Mary Magdalene who Jesus cast out seven devils out of her. She was so grateful to God for her deliverance and she became a faithful follower of Jesus. Even at the empty tomb. She was there to see who have stolen the body of Jesus. But an angel told her. He is not here. He has risen. Go and tell the disciples.  She went right ahead and told what she saw and heard. What a beutiful example of holy and pure life. To be so close to Jesus the fountain of life. The one who deliver us from all evil. Let us all praise and honor His holy name for ever and ever.  Amen

Forgive often and do it with your whole heart. You will certainly feel better and make feel the other person even better than before. Jesus will rejoice too because He taught us Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who traspass against us. Give us the power and the love to forgive others Lord Jesus we come to you asking for wisdom and love. But the prudent are crowned with knowledge. Prov. 14.18b Our Lord Jesus help us to be prudent because the begining of wisdom is the fear of God. We love you with our whole heart and we want to be a faithful servant for ever and ever. Amen

Dear God. I am praying for all pastors who are faithful to God.  Faithful to their commitments, to their families and their congragations. But most important of all. To be faithful to You who sees everything that is under the sun. El Shaddai come to our aid. We need you in our congregations and our Sunday schools. That souls may see Jesus and hear his call.  Righteousness exalts a nation. Prov. 14. 34  That our nation will be sending missionaries to the whole world so they also may glorify God and come to the knowledge of Jesus. We pray for our leaders too that they will have wisdom from on high to lead us into righteousnes and truth. We just leave it in your hands and praise you for everything that you will do. Amen

I stand in awe of your deeds Oh Lord. Hab.3.2a   Indeed. I am standing of all the good works and salvation that brough to many souls last Sunday. Deliverance came to them when our pastor preached about the ten lepers being healed and only one returned to thank Jesus for healing him.  Are we in the same road as the ten lepers?  Do we have leprosy of stress, worry, fear, unable to sleep well and doubt?  Well, Jesus can deliver you from all your stress and give you a new life. Just He did to those ten lepers. But remember. Be thankful for what He is gona do with your finances. You will receive more than double of your income when you trust His word. The poor is hated even of his own fellow man.  Prov. 14.20  Instead of hating the poor let us all feed the hungry. Clothe the naked, visit the sick and those in jail. Jesus will see your good works and will reward you greatly.

It is not about waiting, it is about doing Gods work while we are on earth. In each waiting room of life there is only the presence of God to tell us what to do and where to go. Like Jonah, he had to go to NIniveh to preach the gentiles there and he refused. A whale swallow him up and he repented and did what God wanted him to do. The waiting is over. Let us all go out and refresh ourselves in the word of God and start preaching those who need Gods grace and mercy in their lives. A wise man fears and departs from evil. Prov. 14. 16a.   We must hear Gods voice and obey it. Like the wise man who loves Jesus. He must do the will of God no matter what people are saying about us. It is better to obey God rather than man.

If the Lord be with us we have no cause of fear. His eye is upon us. His arm over us. His ear open to our prayer: His grace is suficient for all our needs. He is the Alpha and Omega. The begining and the end. Let us all rejoice in Him and praise His holy name wherever we are and whatever we are doing. Paul was in a cold jail. He rejoiced in the Lord Jesus and was singing songs of praise and honor to Him. A tranquil heart is the life of the flesh. Prov. 14.30  May the peace of God reing in our hearts and lives so that others will see the good works we do and they also will want to get closer to God. Blessed be His holy name. Now and for ever more. Amen
