Proverbs, Chapter 13

13:1 A wise son [hears] his father's instruction; But a scoffer does not hear rebuke.

13:2 A man will eat good by the fruit of his mouth; But the soul of betrayers [will eat] violence.

13:3 He who guards his mouth keeps his life; [but] he who opens his lips wide will have destruction.

13:4 The soul of the sluggard desires, and has nothing; But the soul of the diligent will be made fat.

13:5 A righteous man hates lying; But a wicked man is loathsome, and comes to shame.

13:6 Righteousness guards him who is upright in the way; But wickedness overthrows the sinner.

13:7 There is one who makes himself rich, yet has nothing: There is one who makes himself poor, yet has great wealth.

13:8 The ransom of a man's life is his riches; But the poor hears no threatening.

13:9 The light of the righteous rejoices; But the lamp of the wicked will be put out.

13:10 By pride comes only contention; But with the well-advised is wisdom.

13:11 Wealth gotten by vanity will be diminished; But he who gathers by labor will have increase.

13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick; But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.

13:13 Whoever despises the word brings destruction on himself; But he who fears the commandment will be rewarded.

13:14 The law of the wise is a fountain of life, That one may avoid the snares of death.

13:15 Good understanding gives favor; But the way of betrayers is hard.

13:16 Every prudent man works with knowledge; But a fool flaunts [his] folly.

13:17 A wicked messenger will fall into evil; But a faithful ambassador is health.

13:18 Poverty and shame [will be to] him who refuses correction; But he who regards reproof will be honored.

13:19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul; But it is disgusting to fools to depart from evil.

13:20 Walk with wise men, and you will be wise; But the friend of fools will smart for it.

13:21 Evil pursues sinners; But the righteous will be recompensed with good.

13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance to the sons of his sons; And the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.

13:23 Much food [is in] the tillage of the poor; But there is that which is destroyed by reason of injustice.

13:24 He who spares his rod hates his son; But he who loves him chastens him diligently.

13:25 The righteous eats to the satisfying of his soul; But the belly of the wicked will want.

PROVERBS 13:3 "HE WHO GUARDS HIS LIPS GUARDS HIS LIFE, BUT HE WHO SPEAKS RASHLY WILL COME TO RUIN."

LIFE AND DEATH ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE. WHAT MOST PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND IS THAT WHAT ONE SPEAKS OUT OF HIS MOUTH, WILL HAPPEN, WHETHER IT IS GOOD OR BAD. AND BECAUSE MOST PEOPLE DON'T UNDERSTAND OR BELIEVE THIS, THAT THEY CREATE THEIR LIVES BY OPENIG THEIR MOUTHS, THEY EITHER END UP WITH PROSPERITY, OR WITH POVERTY.

 

Lord I have to have faith when it comes to the knowledge Christ gives us in raising our children. I know today I did the right thing in the past by trying to have rules for my children they may have not followed them but at least I had them. I have trouble with relationships today because they do not accept me for this it is funnier for them to have someone else let them do anything they want. Still not matured enough to know the diffrence. Why these rules were in place for them. Lord help me I would not have changed the way I thought or my actions there of. I feel someday by the grace of God that they will thank me and not call me names and stay away from me . Maybe they will come to visit me then. Until then I must have faith of mountains and know God is on my side. Amen.

Reading this, gave me comfort, I woke up this morning needing faith and I started reaching out to Jesus and

reading my prayers. Thank you for your prayers and your help for all of us seeking help. May Heavenly Lord thur his

son Jesus Christ fill each one with holy Spirit Amen

Walk with wise men. Those of us who love to seek friends in church and outside should look out for those who fear God and live a holy life before Jesus and other people. Those should be our best friends. Those we can trust and ask for advise. Jesus is our best friend and He want us to trust Him at all times. When we are in trouble, loosing our jobs or our health is deteriorating.. then we should trust even more in our true friend. Jesus. Lord Jesus forgive us for not trusting in you as we should. We promise to do better in the present and the future. In Jesus name. Amen

A good man leaves an inheritance to his sons son. This is just a wonderful verse and it makes me think about how we are gona manage the blessing God has bestowed upon us. The house we live in should be given back to God to be used as a sanctuary for Jesus. Our belongins should be given to the poor and the money we have in the bank should be given to the mission field that God has chosen. Our children should be role models for others to follow in holiness and purity. Our example of holy life should be inspiring to them because we love Jesus with our whole heart and soul. May God give us wisdom on how we dispose of the blessing He has given us in this life. In Jesus name amen.

 I don't believe that means that everyone who wants to speak out on truth and unjust should keep their mouths close but maybe you are right because ut looks like the ones that speak are ruin and the evil ones win

The light of the righteous rejoices. Is may favorite verse in this chapter. We hear all kinds of opinions about God and creation and evolution But Jesus said that all things come to pass but the words of God will never pass away. Let us start hearing God speaks to our hearts and souls. We need more righteous people to pray for the blind, the lame and those who are sick with diabetes. Lord Jesus, help us to shine the light of God in us. So people will believe you and the truth of your word. Amen

Oh my God and my redeemer, I come to your feet asking forgiveness of all my sins. We are exempt from any temptation at all and we ask forgiveness. From the bottom of my heart I am sorry for having offended you in thought and deed. Fill us oh lord with your love and compassion. We seek your face every single day of our lives. We worship you Oh Lord and praise your holy name. He who gards his mouth keeps his life. 13.3  Dear God, please use my mouth to bless and not curse, to uplift others and never ever to despise anyone. Help me to be grateful for what you did for me on the cross. When you opened your arms from east to west your love was shown for all mankind. We adore you oh Lord and praise your holy name for ever more. Amen
