Proverbs, Chapter 10

10:1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son makes a glad father; But a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.

10:2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing; But righteousness delivers from death.

10:3 Yahweh will not allow the soul of the righteous to famish; But he thrusts away the desire of the wicked.

10:4 He becomes poor who works with a slack hand; But the hand of the diligent makes rich.

10:5 He who gathers in summer is a wise son; [but] he who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.

10:6 Blessings are on the head of the righteous; But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

10:7 The memory of the righteous is blessed; But the name of the wicked will rot.

10:8 The wise in heart will receive commandments; But a prating fool will fall.

10:9 He who walks uprightly walks surely; But he who perverts his ways will be known.

10:10 He who winks with the eye causes sorrow; But a prating fool will fall.

10:11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life; But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

10:12 Hatred stirs up strifes; But love covers all transgressions.

10:13 In the lips of him who has discernment wisdom is found; But a rod is for the back of him who is void of understanding.

10:14 Wise men lay up knowledge; But the mouth of the foolish is a present destruction.

10:15 The rich man's wealth is his strong city: The destruction of the poor is their poverty.

10:16 The labor of the righteous, to life; The increase of the wicked, to sin.

10:17 He is in the way to life who heeds correction; But he who forsakes reproof errs.

10:18 He who hides hatred is of lying lips; And he who utters a slander is a fool.

10:19 In the multitude of words transgression does not cease; But he who refrains his lips does wisely.

10:20 The tongue of the righteous is [as] choice silver: The heart of the wicked is worth little.

10:21 The lips of the righteous feed many; But the foolish die for lack of understanding.

10:22 The blessing of Yahweh, it makes rich; And he adds no sorrow with it.

10:23 It is as sport to a fool to do wickedness; And [so is] wisdom to a man of understanding.

10:24 The fear of the wicked, it will come upon him; And the desire of the righteous will be granted.

10:25 When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more; But the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

10:26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, So is the sluggard to those who send him.

10:27 The fear of Yahweh prolongs days; But the years of the wicked will be shortened.

10:28 The hope of the righteous [will be] gladness; But the expectation of the wicked will perish.

10:29 The way of Yahweh is a stronghold to the upright; But it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity.

10:30 The righteous will never be removed; But the wicked will not stay in the land.

10:31 The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom; But the perverse tongue will be cut off.

10:32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable; But the mouth of the wicked [speaks] perverseness.

I will give thanks to the Lord because of His righteousness I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.  Psalm 7.17  When we open our hearts to Jesus the only thing we want to do is to praise, honor and glorify our God.  Yaweh will not allow the soul of the righteous to famish.  Prov. 10.3a   God Himself will feed us with the bread of heaven and those who come to Him with an open heart to receive Him will be satisfied with good things.

I will remember their sins and their lawless sins no more. Heb. 10.17 This is such a wonderful promise for all of us. Sinners in the hands of an angry God. His heart is full of mercy, compassion and care. He will never ever remember our sins no more. The Blood of Jesus covered it forever. That is one reason we should serve Him with all our heart, mind and soul all the day of our lives. The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life. Prov. 10.11a O God, make us holy and pure as thou art. So our mouths will utter praises to You and bless your people with every single word we say. In Jesus name. Amen

If any little word of ours can make smiles come out of the heart of those who live with us... then it is worthwhile to be happy in God's holy presence there is fullness of joy. If any song of ours can make sing praises to God in the heart of the hearers then we did something great for God's honor and glory. If God's word speaks down deep in our souls, then our life will be changed forever. The wise in heart will receive commandments. O God, let us all speak Your word in love and compassion just as Jesus would. Take our songs of praise and honor to the hearts of those who listen to You with open hearts.

Thank for the scriptures

Plant peace in the hearts of everyone you see. Honor with your heart your heavenly Father who loves you and me with an everlasting love. Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall see God. Yahweh will not allow the soul of the righteous to famish. God will never leave us nor forsake us. So, partake the Bread with others, Journey with them in compassion just as Jesus would do.

And when at last our breath is gone for good, we shall stand before Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. He will reveal to us what we dimly see, when we have passed the heavenly gates all earthly ills will vanish, all pain, all sorrow, and all worry will vanish. Jesus will be our stronghold and our rock in which we shall stand. Blessing are on the head of the righteous. For in our human heart we cannot comprehend the wonderful things God has stored for us. The magnitude of the love God has for us. Blessings upon blessing shall come to us when we do His will out of a pure heart.

Holy Spirit, Thou art welcome in this place... You are my all in all. Omnipotent Father of mercy and grace, Thou art welcome in this place. Fill us with Your love, with Your mercy and compassion.
