Proverbs, Chapter 10

10:1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son makes a glad father; But a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.

10:2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing; But righteousness delivers from death.

10:3 Yahweh will not allow the soul of the righteous to famish; But he thrusts away the desire of the wicked.

10:4 He becomes poor who works with a slack hand; But the hand of the diligent makes rich.

10:5 He who gathers in summer is a wise son; [but] he who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.

10:6 Blessings are on the head of the righteous; But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

10:7 The memory of the righteous is blessed; But the name of the wicked will rot.

10:8 The wise in heart will receive commandments; But a prating fool will fall.

10:9 He who walks uprightly walks surely; But he who perverts his ways will be known.

10:10 He who winks with the eye causes sorrow; But a prating fool will fall.

10:11 The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life; But violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

10:12 Hatred stirs up strifes; But love covers all transgressions.

10:13 In the lips of him who has discernment wisdom is found; But a rod is for the back of him who is void of understanding.

10:14 Wise men lay up knowledge; But the mouth of the foolish is a present destruction.

10:15 The rich man's wealth is his strong city: The destruction of the poor is their poverty.

10:16 The labor of the righteous, to life; The increase of the wicked, to sin.

10:17 He is in the way to life who heeds correction; But he who forsakes reproof errs.

10:18 He who hides hatred is of lying lips; And he who utters a slander is a fool.

10:19 In the multitude of words transgression does not cease; But he who refrains his lips does wisely.

10:20 The tongue of the righteous is [as] choice silver: The heart of the wicked is worth little.

10:21 The lips of the righteous feed many; But the foolish die for lack of understanding.

10:22 The blessing of Yahweh, it makes rich; And he adds no sorrow with it.

10:23 It is as sport to a fool to do wickedness; And [so is] wisdom to a man of understanding.

10:24 The fear of the wicked, it will come upon him; And the desire of the righteous will be granted.

10:25 When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more; But the righteous is an everlasting foundation.

10:26 As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, So is the sluggard to those who send him.

10:27 The fear of Yahweh prolongs days; But the years of the wicked will be shortened.

10:28 The hope of the righteous [will be] gladness; But the expectation of the wicked will perish.

10:29 The way of Yahweh is a stronghold to the upright; But it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity.

10:30 The righteous will never be removed; But the wicked will not stay in the land.

10:31 The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom; But the perverse tongue will be cut off.

10:32 The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable; But the mouth of the wicked [speaks] perverseness.

Dear Lord, teach us to feel anothes woes, fears, and worries.  So we shall pray for them as we go through the valley of the shadow of death, we shall fear no evil for Thou art with us.   To hide them in the Blood of the Lamb, to heal their wounds and to restore their lives.  Show us the way to heaven.  Remembering that this world is not our home.  Heaven is.  The wise in heart will receive the commandments.  Teach us o Lord to show mercy and compassion on lost souls of the world. So they will learn Your commandments and obey them.

My soul doth magnify the Lord our Savior.  He has done great things for all of us who love Him with all our heart, mind and soul.  Glory be to the Father and unto the Son and to the Holy Spirit for giving us His word today.  May our hearts rejoice with Him as we read it on a daily basis.

Winter is past and new season is coming. The fresh aroma of Gods word make us feel His holy presence. When we read His word, our hearts feel with joy and happiness. The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life. My prayer today is that God wil use our mouth to bless others, to share Jesus with everyone we see and to praise and honor God above all things.

I will forever bless the Lord for giving us His word for us to read and to obey what it says. The Lord is righteous and merciful, great in kindness and good to all, the Lord is righteous in all His ways so, let us all bless the Lord and give Him praise. The fear of Yaweh prolongs days. Lovely verse. He will let us all live for the glory of His name. Amen

The blessings of Yahweh makes it rich. Lovely verse. How true it is that Jesus loves us and cares, sending blessings, help and mercy. Call unto Me...says the Lord I will answer thee. Glory to God almighty
