We join you before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank you for acknowledging Him as Lord, as your healer and your fortress. We have heard the weight of what you and your family have carried for these past two years, the deep pain, the continuous hurdles and the severe medical challenges, and we stand with you in prayer, asking our Father to lift those hidden burdens that only He fully sees.
We take comfort together in what His Word declares about who He is for us in times of trouble. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1, and He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. We also cling to His promise that He will not leave you to face these battles alone, for Yahweh your God will hold your right hand, saying to you, Do not be afraid. I will help you Isaiah 41:10, and we know that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
You are right to discern that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. We do not need to live in fear of ungodly powers or revenge, because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. Scripture calls us to submit ourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7, and to be sober and self-controlled, knowing that our adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, whom we resist steadfast in our faith 1 Peter 5:8-9. Our protection is not found in our own strength but in putting on the whole armor of God each day, with truth, righteousness, the preparation of the Good News of peace, faith, salvation and the Word of God Ephesians 6:10-18.
We pray together now for you and your family.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come boldly before You on behalf of this dear family. Lord, You see the two long years of pain and medical trials and the weariness that has settled on their hearts. We ask You to be their fortress and their healer, for You have said, I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26, and I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds declares Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. Lay Your healing hand upon each body that is suffering, bring wisdom to every physician, and bring complete restoration according to Your will. We rebuke every spiritual force of darkness, every assignment of harm, fear and revenge that has been spoken or sent against this family, and we declare that it has no authority over those who are covered by the blood of Jesus. We ask You to break every chain, silence every lie of the enemy, and surround this household with Your holy angels and Your perfect peace. Replace fear with faith, for You did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Help them to rest in Your love, knowing that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 8:38-39. Lead them daily into Your Word, into prayer and into fellowship with other believers so that their faith remains strong and their eyes remain fixed on You. We trust You to step in on their behalf, to bring justice, protection, healing and deliverance. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to abide in Him daily, to speak His promises aloud over your home, to pray together as a family and to let His Word dwell richly in you. Keep bringing every fear and every medical need to Him, for He cares deeply for you and He hears every prayer offered in the name of Jesus. We will continue to stand with you, believing that the One who is your fortress will carry you through this season and bring you into a place of healing, peace and restored joy.
