I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that You are the Lord, the ultimate healer, and my fortress in times of trouble. Lord, for the past two years, my family and I have been walking through a season of deep pain, continuous hurdles, and severe medical challenges.You know the hidden burdens we carry and the fear that ungodly powers or spiritual forces are working to bring harm or revenge against us, breaking us physically, mentally & financially. Your Word tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness. I ask You to step in on our behalf.

We join you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank you for acknowledging Him as Lord, healer and fortress, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find our refuge and strength. We have heard the deep pain and weariness in your request as you describe two years of continuous hurdles and severe medical challenges for you and your family, and the hidden burdens and fear that ungodly powers or spiritual forces are seeking to bring harm and revenge against you physically, mentally and financially.

We want to encourage you that your understanding of the battle is biblical. As you said, our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. Yet we also want to gently rebuke the fear that has taken hold, because fear does not come from God and it can give the enemy a foothold when we magnify his power above God's. For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. And we know that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17. The enemy may roar, but he is already defeated at the cross, so we resist him by submitting ourselves fully to God. Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7.

The Lord is your fortress and He has not left you to walk this valley alone. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3. Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together for you and your family now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear family to You. Lord, You see the two years of pain, the endless hurdles, the medical struggles, the mental exhaustion and the financial pressure they have carried. You know every hidden burden and every anxious thought. We ask You to be their fortress and strong tower, to encamp around them and deliver them. We plead the blood of Jesus over them, over their bodies, their minds, their home and their finances. We ask for Your divine protection, that no scheme of darkness, no curse, no revenge, no ungodly power would have any authority over them, for whom the Son sets free is free indeed. We rebuke every spiritual force of wickedness that has come against them and we command it to flee in Jesus name, and we ask You to break every chain that has sought to break them physically, mentally and financially.

Lord, lay Your healing hand upon them. You are the Lord who heals us and who forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases. Psalm 103:3. Bring restoration to their bodies, peace to their minds that passes all understanding, and provision for every need according to Your riches in glory. Philippians 4:19. Guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7. Help them daily to put on the whole armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word. Ephesians 6:11-17. Teach them to stand firm, to pray without ceasing, and to trust not in their own strength but in Your unfailing love.

We thank You Father that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You will never leave them nor forsake them. Continue to strengthen their faith, let them feel Your presence as their shadow and shelter, and let this season of trial become a testimony of Your deliverance and healing. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

Thank you for bringing your family before the Lord so honestly. Walking through two years of pain and medical challenges with no break is exhausting, and we hear how heavy the hidden burdens feel right now. It makes sense that fear would grow when you feel pressed on every side physically, mentally and financially.

We are grateful you named Jesus as your fortress. When illness lingers it can leave everyone feeling fragile and worn down, and the whole household feels the strain as routines and sleep and work get disrupted. You are not carrying this alone, even when it feels that way.

One gentle next step that often helps in a long season like this is to let one or two trusted people walk closely with you. That might be a pastor or a small group who can pray with you regularly and check in, and staying connected to your medical care team for the ongoing health needs so you have steady support for both spiritual and physical care. You do not have to sort out whether every hardship has a spiritual root by yourself. Bringing those fears openly to the Lord and to trusted believers can keep fear from taking up more space than it should.

We are praying for you now.

Father, in Jesus name we bring this family to You. You see what they have carried these two years and the fear that weighs on them. Cover them with Your protection and peace, give wisdom to those caring for them, and guide their steps day by day. Remind them they are held by You and not forgotten. Amen.

Your prayer for protection has been heard, and your long season of pain and medical trial is not hidden from the Lord who is your fortress. For two years you have carried hidden burdens that have pressed upon body and mind and estate, and you have felt as one going down to the pit, fearing that spiritual forces of darkness seek your harm. Hear what the Word of God declares for such a soul.

There is a higher restoration than recovery from bodily sickness, though the Lord is indeed the ultimate healer. The believer learns to view affliction aright when he can say, The Lord has chastened me sorely. This is a gladsome fact, for that which comes from the rod of the Lord bears the aspect of chastening from a Father's hand. Be comforted by this truth, that all your ills lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling. If this evil came apart from divine permission, where would you be. But nothing is outside the sacred zone of providential government. Since the Lord chastens you sorely, He has not erased your name from His heart or His hands, nor has He yielded you up to your enemy's power. He has not given you over unto death, that you may live and declare the works of the Lord.

Your battle is indeed not against flesh and blood, and you are right to look beyond secondary causes to the prince of darkness who has power over our fallen nature. Yet deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. You cannot overcome him of yourself, and no deliverance wrought from below will avail. If you are ever set free from sin and Satan, it will be eternally true that the Lord brought you forth out of the house of bondage with His own hand and outstretched arm. For this very need God has not only invented a way of deliverance, but He has found a ransom. It is the gift of divine love. The voice that comes from the excellent glory still cries, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is Christ Jesus Himself, and through Him you are saved from yourself, saved from the devil, saved from all the attacks of your old sins.

Look then to Christ alone for healing. There grows no healing herb but the one plant of renown. As the leaves fall from the trees, so sacred influence descends from our Lord Jesus in heaven down to the sons of men, and the very leaves of that tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. Apart from Calvary there is no balm in Gilead that can heal, but the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing beneath His wings for every soul that sits in midnight. He has delivered us from the fascinating power of sin and from the power of darkness, and if He gave His own dear Son to put away sin, will He not also give you bread and water and daily help in your troubles. Cast yourself upon your God in Christ, for since God has made you free, you are free indeed, hidden with Christ and secure from fear.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord our God, our fortress and healer, we come in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation and through whose blood a ransom has been found. You see this family whom You have permitted to walk through deep pain and continuous hurdles and severe medical challenges. You know the fear that has settled upon their souls. We ask You to deliver them from going down to the pit. Put forth Your supernatural power and bring them forth out of bondage with joy. Heal their bodies as it pleases Your wisdom, guard their minds, provide for their financial needs, and cover them under the shadow of Your wings. Deliver them from the power of darkness and from every assault of the evil one, and let them know that no weapon formed against them shall prosper while they are kept within Your fence of omnipotent love. Grant them to live and to declare Your works, to be screened from inward doubts and from the plague of sin, and to find all their interests secure in Christ. We ask this not for any merit in us, but for the sake of Him who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows. Amen.
