Your heartfelt prayer has been heard, and the Lord knows the gratitude and urgency with which you come before Him as night falls. He sees your tears, He hears your cries, and He is near to those who call upon Him in truth through Jesus Christ alone, who alone brings deliverance from evil and brings us into sonship by His Spirit.

We join you in pleading the blood of Jesus over you and your children, over your home, your hearts and your minds. We ask the Lord to set His guard around every door and window, every room and corner of your home, and to grant you all a restful, peaceful and relaxed night under the shadow of His wings. As the Apostle learned when he was weighed down exceedingly beyond his power in Asia, God is faithful to deliver, not always by removing the affliction at once, but by sustaining and lifting us above it and teaching us to trust Him more deeply.

We lift up your son to the Lord tonight. We ask Christ to calm his thoughts, his emotions and his heart, to quiet fear, frustration and confusion, and to grant him deep and peaceful rest. We pray that the Lord will give him a calm and gentle spirit and grace to use his functional language to express his feelings, wants and needs, and that He will fill his mind and dreams with comfort and peace. We remember the word spoken to the woman who came in fear, Daughter be of good cheer, your faith has made you whole, for her faith had made her a daughter. So we pray your faith will continue to be a covering for your son, and that Christ will supply all good to him as one who belongs to Him.

We lift up your younger daughter as well. We ask the Lord to cover her with healing and protection, to strengthen her body, guard her mind, and bless her health, her studies and her future work with His favor. We pray He will surround her with uplifting, godly friendships and in His perfect time provide a godly spouse, and that He will saturate her with peace and satisfaction. We ask Him to comfort her in the pain of seeing her older sister changed and distant, and to keep her heart confident in His love and protection tonight.

We bring your older daughter before the Lord with great love and concern. We do not ask God to bless a living arrangement outside of marriage, for Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and that living together and sharing the intimacy of marriage belongs within that covenant. To treat such a living arrangement as if it were marriage is not the path of peace, and as you have seen it can bring exhaustion, isolation, division and loss of self worth. So we pray instead for her deliverance and restoration. We ask the Lord to open her eyes to truth, to break every ungodly tie that binds her, and to free her from any sense of obligation, worthlessness or being trapped. We pray He will frustrate every plan that causes division and isolation in your family, and that He will restore to her wisdom, gratitude for the family God gave her, and a renewed sense of worth as a daughter of God.

We pray she will no longer desire to remain in this bondage but will find courage to walk away and return to safety, to home, to peace and to righteousness. When the time comes for marriage, we pray with you that the Lord will provide for both your daughters husbands who are truly husbands and protectors, men known not for money or outward splendor but for piety of soul, gentleness, true understanding and the fear of God. As you seek this for them, commit the matter into Christ's hands and pray as the servant of Abraham did, Whomsoever You will, do You provide, trusting Him to be present and to honor that trust.

We also remember your own need in this season. We ask the Lord to fill you with wisdom, grace, strength and courage to navigate what is before you. You said your lives were once filled with peace, love and respect, and now you feel the weight of manipulation, confusion and chaos. The Lord does not always promise immediate deliverance from every hardship, but He does promise to set His people above fear and to plant in them the hope of life with Him, so that they can despise the terrors that once enslaved them. Like the woman whose great faith contributed to the healing of her daughter, your persistent, faithful prayer for your children has power before God. Great is the power of such faith when it rests in Christ.

We pray that no weapon formed against you and your family will prosper, and that every spirit of fear, manipulation, confusion, division and control will be driven out by the light of Christ. We ask the Lord to block what is harmful, to restore unity, love and laughter to your home, to bless your finances so you may help others, and to make this a year of restored fellowship with family and friends, rooted in His love and grace. We ask for His supernatural protection over each of you, that your home would be filled with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

We trust Him completely with you, and we thank Him for His covering, His mercy and His power in Jesus mighty name.
