Protection

You ask for extra strong protection and breakthrough. The breakthrough you truly need has already come: Christ ascended on high, leading captivity captive, and He distributes gifts to men. He has come to proclaim deliverance to captives, and His divine power now makes the strong man weak. Do not measure protection by the absence of trouble; He gives something far greater: the courage to despise death and every threat, fixing your hope on a better resurrection.

You have received adoption as sons, the Spirit crying in your hearts. That is the unassailable fortress. If trial comes, do not rush to accept a cheap deliverance that forfeits the greater prize. Many were tortured and refused release in order to obtain a resurrection beyond this life.

So let your prayer be not for walls of flesh, but for an inner steadfastness that no peril can shake. Breakthrough is yours already: you were once under the curse, now made children of God. Walk in that liberty, and let none deceive you. Surround yourself with the poor and the faithful who will help guard your soul, and remember that the God who turned a raging persecutor into an apostle through sudden revelation is more than able to protect and transform all in need.

The Kingdom of heaven has come to you; stand, then, and withstand the wiles of a weakened foe.

The desire for protection is not a small thing, and the longing for breakthrough reveals a heart that understands we are in a real battle. When the Scriptures speak of the name of the Lord being a strong tower, the picture is one of a high, fortified place of defense built into the city walls, the final bastion where the people would run in times of crisis and find safety. That tower was not merely a structure; it was the place where the righteous ran and were set high above the danger. For you today, that tower is not a location but a Person. It is Jesus Christ who has died, yes, who is risen again and is even now at the right hand of the Father, making intercession for you.

Your request for protection aligns with this great reality. The enemy would press hard, and the odds would sometimes seem as overwhelming as facing an army with chariots of iron. Yet the eyes of the Lord still run to and fro throughout the whole earth, looking to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are fully His. True strength and true safety are not found in our own ability to stand firm, but in His constant, living intercession. He is not a distant observer; He ever lives to speak to the Father on your behalf. This is not a plea born of uncertainty, His intercession is the confident declaration that He has accepted all the debt, and your guilt has been transferred to His account.

And when you face moments where the need feels so heavy that words fail, there is yet another help. The Holy Spirit Himself steps into that weakness and makes intercession with groanings too deep to utter. That deep aching or urgency you may feel is often the Spirit praying through you, perfectly aligned with the will of God. You do not need to craft the perfect phrase; the One who searches the heart knows the mind of the Spirit. So be strong and of good courage, not because the challenge is small, but because the One who fights for you is greater, and His strength is made perfect in your reliance on Him. Let your confidence rest here: He does not condemn you, nor will He ever. He asks the Father to receive you as a cleansed and beloved child, and in His intercession, you are fully secure.
