You heap up many words, praying for protection, unity, healing, and favor. The desire for your children to be safe, to be whole, and to walk in peace is a right and godly longing. But I must speak truth to you, for a careful hearing of the word is required, and then fortitude to act upon it. You pray for a hedge of protection around your home, yet you tolerate chaos to dwell near it. You command spirits to flee, yet you feed a disorder with your own fear and misplaced sentiment. Consider the sickness of covetousness that seized even one of the holy band, the traitor Judas. Neither the favors, nor the gifts, nor being with Christ availed him when that disease took hold. You speak of a young man's disrespectful, manipulating, and selfish behaviors destroying your family's unity. Do you not see the parallel? When we neglect truth to preserve a false peace, we draw down a severe condemnation. You pray for your older daughter to be shielded from his influence, yet you seem to beg God to bless a circumstance while refusing to name it for what it is. Living together outside of marriage is not a marriage, as you yourself said. You rightly see that it gives no right to control. Why then do you pray as if this situation is a mere annoyance to be managed, rather than a ruinous pit to be fled? The young man you describe is a rock upon which your daughter's faith is being shipwrecked. You ask God to frustrate the plans of those causing division, yet you do not call your daughter to come out from this ungodly tie. She is not married to him. His authority over her is a wicked fiction, an idol you must help her topple. It is not enough to pray for clarity; you must be the voice of that clarity. You must tell her plainly, with a love that fears more for her soul than her affection, that she is living in a state of fornication that dishonors Christ and poisons her soul, her gratefulness, and her character.

You pray for a supernatural bond between you and your children. That bond is forged in shared fidelity to the King, not in anxious circles around a rebel camp. True unity is found when all faces are turned toward the Light, not when some turn toward darkness and others beg the Light to simply chase the shadows without disturbing the steps of those who love them. If your daughter idolizes this man, putting him before her supportive family, her purpose, and her faith, as you say, then the loving act is not to merely pray against his manipulation, but to call her to repentance with tears. You ask God to break every ungodly tie; He has placed the sword of His Word in your mouth to do precisely that. You must speak the truth in love, insisting she choose this day whom she will serve. To pray for deliverance from manipulative spirits while leaving the door wide open for them is to build a house with one hand and tear it down with the other. Guard your own soul first. Your fear of losing her affection must be slain, lest it become a snare. The Lord permitted great saints to suffer and die not to spare them from pain, but to teach them, and us, to despise death, to despise the loss of worldly comfort, to despise even the breaking of family ties for the sake of the Kingdom. Deliverance from pain is not near so great as persuading men and women to hate their sin. Comfort your daughter not in her rebellion, but hold up the hard, saving doctrine of repentance and the fear of the Lord. Then, and only then, can the healing of her spiritual clarity and the restoration of a godly personality truly begin. The peace that surpasses all understanding is the peace of one who is reconciled to God through obedience. Seek that peace first for your own heart, and then bring it as a costly offering to your children, never compromising the command of the Almighty for the fleeting affection of man.

What a powerful, desperate, and beautiful prayer from a mother's heart. I can hear the depth of your love for your children, and your fierce desire to see them walk in protection, peace, and purpose. You are pleading the blood of Jesus over your home and declaring truth over your family, and that is right.

In all of this spiritual warfare and in every relational storm you are navigating, there is one central anchor that everything else hangs upon: your own living relationship with God. Not a ritual of prayer, however sincere, but the daily, intimate communion of a child with her Father. You can trace every fractured relationship back to this one thing. When our connection with the Lord is out of balance, every other human connection will feel the strain and begin to unravel. But when that vertical axis is secure and thriving, the horizontal relationships have a way of falling back into divine order, almost as a natural consequence of abiding in Him.

Your cry for your son’s healing and for your older daughter’s spiritual clarity points directly to this truth. For your son, you are asking for a miraculous restoration. That healing flows from relationship, a right standing with God through Jesus Christ. The stripes that heal are not just a transaction; they are the doorway into a loving, vibrant fellowship where His peace guards the mind. Keep bringing him before the Father, trusting that the same grace that saved you is actively working to bring wholeness to his mind, his body, and his spirit. A life of peace and satisfaction is the fruit of being rooted in that relationship.

For your older daughter, your heartbreak is clear. You see a bond that is not only outside of God’s design but is actively bearing rotten fruit: division, disrespect, manipulation, and a poisoned gratefulness. This is the nature of a relationship built on a foundation other than Christ. It cannot be blessed into godliness. Your prayer must not be for God to bless a living situation He calls sin, but for Him to break the spiritual blindness that keeps her in it. You cannot force her to see; you can only pray that her primary relationship with the Lord is reawakened. When that spark catches fire, she will begin to see the ungodly tie for what it is. The goal is not just for the young man to leave, but for her own faith, independence, and Godly personality to be restored so completely that she walks away in the freedom and clarity only the Spirit gives.

A half-hearted relationship with God cannot hold back the flood. You are doing battle for the unity of your home, so let your own life be one of full-blown, passionate devotion. Do not let the chaos of these circumstances become an idol that distracts you from the consciousness of His presence right now. He wants you to experience a fresh, day-by-day fellowship of love and grace, not a fearful clinging to relics or outcomes. As you center your own heart there, you will find a supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding, and you will model for your children what it looks like to be anchored in the compound unity of a family whose God is the Lord.

Stand firm. Declare the truth. But let your greatest warfare be fought on your knees in that intimate place with your Father, trusting that as your relationship with Him is right, He will actively work to set every other relationship in your family toward His order, His healing, and His peace.

We are deeply moved by the heartfelt prayer you shared with us, lifting up your family, your home, and each of your children with such faith and love. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you, pleading the precious blood of Jesus over your minds, hearts, bodies, and spirits, and declaring His divine protection over every aspect of your lives.

We have prayed fervently for the healing and restoration of your son, trusting in the power of Jesus’ stripes to bring wholeness, peace, and breakthrough in his life. We have asked the Lord to surround him with His angels, to fill him with joy, confidence, and functional language, and to shield him from every negative influence. We continue to lift him up, believing for his complete healing and for him to be a beacon of Christ’s light in all he does.

For your daughters, we have interceded for God’s favor, wisdom, and protection over their health, studies, careers, and relationships. We have prayed for unbreakable bonds between you and your children, for unity, respect, and love to reign in your home, and for every toxic influence to be broken in Jesus’ name. We have asked the Lord to frustrate every plot and scheme aimed at causing division or chaos in your family and to restore clarity, independence, and Godly purpose to each of your children.

We have declared God’s peace, joy, and protection over your home, asking that it would be a place of light, love, and fellowship for all who enter. We have stood on the promise that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper and that the Lord would go before you, preparing your paths and guarding every step.

If the Lord has answered any part of this prayer—whether through healing, restoration, protection, or breakthrough—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. Your testimony will encourage others and glorify God. If, however, you are still waiting to see the full manifestation of these requests, we invite you to post this again as a new prayer so that we may continue to stand with you in faith. We believe that God is working even now, and we will not grow weary in praying for your family’s wholeness and victory.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him, trust in His promises, and walk in His will. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
