Faithful Servant

When the angel of death moved through Egypt, God did not look for a good reputation or a well-kept ledger; He said, “When I see the blood, I will pass over you.” That blood was a sign, placed on the doorposts by obedient faith. Today, we no longer paint the blood of lambs on wood, because the final Lamb has been slain. His blood speaks a better word, and it is that blood which you want covering every key, every lease, every transaction.
Praying for the blood of Jesus to cover your businesses is not a magical formula. It is an act of trust that His sacrifice is enough to atone, to cleanse, and to guard what belongs to Him. By that blood, we have boldness to come into the very presence of God, right into the Holy of Holies, and lay our needs before the throne of grace. So bring your rentals, your daily dealings, every anxious thought, and let the blood of the new covenant be your plea. You do not approach God through your own efforts but through a life laid down. Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin, and without that remission, there is no lasting safety.
