Servant of All
I come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that You are the Lord, the ultimate healer, and my fortress in times of trouble. Lord, for the past two years, my family and I have been walking through a season of deep pain, continuous hurdles, and severe medical challenges. You know the hidden burdens we carry and the fear that ungodly powers or spiritual forces are working to bring harm or revenge against us. Your Word tells us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness. I ask You to step in on our behalf.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already overcome the world and all the spiritual forces of darkness. We recognize the deep pain, fear, and exhaustion you and your family have endured over these past two years. The trials you face, medical challenges, emotional burdens, and the very real sense of spiritual opposition, are not unseen by our Heavenly Father. He is your refuge, your strength, and your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We take comfort in knowing that the battle you are fighting is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). But take heart, for the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).

We rebuke every ungodly power and spiritual force that seeks to bring harm, revenge, or destruction to you and your family. In the name of Jesus, we command every assignment of the enemy against your health, your peace, and your home to be dismantled and rendered powerless. The Word of God declares that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We declare this truth over your lives today. The enemy may have meant these trials for evil, but God will use them for good, for He works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil. Fasten the belt of truth around your waist, put on the breastplate of righteousness, and shod your feet with the readiness of the gospel of peace. Above all, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times with all kinds of prayers and requests (Ephesians 6:11-18). Stand firm in your faith, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this family to You, knowing that You see their pain, their struggles, and their fears. Lord, we ask that You would be their fortress and their deliverer in this time of trouble. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around them. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, fear, and oppression that has come against them. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we command every sickness and disease to leave their bodies in Jesus’ name.

Father, we ask that You would strengthen their faith and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their provider, their healer, and their protector. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Lord, we pray that You would turn their mourning into dancing and clothe them with joy (Psalm 30:11). Restore what the enemy has stolen, and let Your light shine brightly in their lives.

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You (Isaiah 54:17). We trust in Your unfailing love, and we wait on You, Lord, for You are good to those who wait for You, to the soul who seeks You (Lamentations 3:25). In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, dear ones. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this battle, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2). Your victory is already secured in Him.

We hear the weariness in your words, two years of deep pain and severe medical challenges would leave anyone exhausted, and it’s no surprise that fear has crept in about what might be behind so many hurdles. When suffering drags on, it’s easy to feel that unseen forces are closing in.

One writer wisely observed that there are two equal and opposite errors about the devil: to disbelieve in his existence, or to believe and feel an excessive, unhealthy interest in him. You’ve named the spiritual battle honestly, and that’s good, but our safety isn’t found in studying the darkness; it’s in drawing closer to the Light. Christ has already won the decisive victory, and nothing can snatch you from His hand. We don’t have to be consumed with figuring out every scheme when we rest in that.

When medical battles go on this long, it’s also common to pull back from community. Fatigue and fear can isolate us just when we most need hands to hold us up. If you can, let a small group or a trusted Christian friend carry some of this weight with you, not only in prayer but in practical, day-to-day ways. Even a brief phone call can be a lifeline when church attendance feels impossible.

Lord Jesus, we come alongside this family and ask for Your peace to settle deep into their hearts. You see every hidden burden, every medical need, every shard of fear. Surround them with Your protective presence and give wisdom to those providing care. Quiet the anxious inner noise, and let them sense, rather than just know, that You are their fortress. Bring healing in Your way and time, and hold them steady in hope. In Your mighty name, amen.

The season you walk through is one of deep pain indeed, yet I would have you know that the Lord has not given you over to the power of darkness. He has delivered you from its dominion, even now, though the shadows seem to thicken. You speak of ungodly powers and spiritual malice; but lift up your heart, our battle is not against flesh and blood, and it is the Lord Himself who has broken down everything that sets itself up against Him. From the time Satan fell, God’s purpose has been to overthrow all opposition, and He will dry up the green tree of pride while lifting up the poor from the dunghill. Your fear of hidden revenge is but the old concealment of the darkness, but Christ has snatched you from that very power, translating you into the kingdom of His dear Son.

These two years of hurdles and medical woes, are they not from the Lord? Troubles do not spring out of the dust; neither does affliction grow like hemlock from the furrows. The Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. You have been chastened sorely, yet it is the chastening of a Father, which makes even the sharpest smart to be profitable. This is your shield: if all your ills lie within the fence of His overruling, then they are not the random strikes of a revengeful enemy, but the measured strokes of a wise and loving hand. That which comes by His permission cannot be met apart from His grace.

You cry for protection; but greater still, you have a Deliverer who has found a ransom. Christ Jesus has paid the price, none could have thought of such a way but God alone, and He has given commandment to save you, to deliver you from the pit. He is gracious, and He says, “Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.” He has rescued you from the power of darkness, not merely helped you keep from some conspicuous sin, but brought you wholly out. Therefore, above all, take the shield of faith. When the fiery darts of the wicked one fly, faith catches them and quenches their fire; it turns the attack itself into comfort, extracting honey from the nettle. Hold fast your confidence; cast it not away. Never exchange it for self-confidence, but rest solely on the blood-red Cross.

After deliverance, the believer’s conduct is this: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” You shall yet testify of His goodness, for the Lord has broken down the powers that oppose you, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Go forth, then, not with a trembling spirit, but with your shield lifted high, for He who delivered you from the pit will perfect that which concerns you. Rejoice in the Deliverer, and let your song be of Him who has brought you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have tasted the bitter cup that the Lord gives to those He loves. For two years, affliction has been your constant companion, and your cry echoes that of the Canaanite mother who begged for mercy and met with silence. Do you think He did not hear her? Yet He waited, not from cruelty, but to draw forth her faith like gold from the furnace, to show that the soul tested by delay becomes stronger, more insistent, more truly humble. Your own silence from heaven is not rejection but a forging. The disciples in the storm waited until the fourth watch of the night before He came walking on the sea, teaching them not to seek deliverance hastily but to bear all things manfully.

You speak of spiritual forces and hidden burdens. Our battle is indeed not against flesh and blood, and so your weapons must be spiritual: thanksgiving, steadfast endurance, the memory of God’s past mercies. When you sing, “Return unto thy rest, O my soul, for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee,” or “I will fear no evil, for Thou art with me,” do you sing drunk with grief or with the sober joy of the Holy Spirit? The Thessalonians received the word in much affliction, yet with joy, becoming imitators of the Lord. Their suffering was not a sign of defeat but of divine training. For the narrow way that leads to life is pressed and constricted, and he who is not pressed by affliction cannot enter. Every righteous man must pass through it. You say your family walks in deep pain; then know that you walk the only path the saints have ever trod.

Do not mistake His purpose. Why did He allow the Israelites to groan under Egyptian taskmasters? To show His power, to train them, and so that coming from much suffering into rest they might give thanks. Ease makes the soul fat and forgetful; affliction is the school of true wisdom. David in prosperity said, “I shall never be moved,” but in sorrow, “Lo, here am I, let Him do what is pleasing in His sight.” What is more philosophic than this? You ask for protection and deliverance, and He will grant it in His time, but the greater gift He gives now is the chance to say with Paul, “I give thanks in all things,” and with Job, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.” Your fear of ungodly powers is natural, but remember that nothing is unclean of itself except through a man’s intention. The demons tremble not at our panic but at a heart that clings to God and refuses to be polluted by distrust.

So root out the thorns of despair and accusation before you seek to scatter the good seed of comfort. Let your affliction thrust you deeper into God, not drive you to demand a swift end. He is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in affliction so that we may comfort others. Your groaning He has heard, and why else would He permit it but that you might receive consolations infinite, be sanctified, and outshine all peril in Him? Do not therefore be drunk from grief, but soberly offer thanks even for this season, knowing that the Lord chastens every son whom He receives. The reward is not in the absence of suffering but in the sharing of His cross, and great is your reward in heaven.

I hear the weight of what you've carried for these past two years, the relentless pain, the medical battles, the sense that unseen forces are pressing in. And you're right to bring it all before the Lord, because His Word is clear: the struggle we face is not against flesh and blood. It is a reality that the enemy often uses fear to wear down our faith, to pull our eyes off the risen Christ and onto the darkness around us. But fear and faith cannot coexist for long. The moment we remember the Lord, the grip of fear begins to loosen.

Think of the picture in the song of all songs, the King's own traveling couch surrounded by sixty mighty men, each armed and skilled in battle, swords at the ready because of the fear in the night. That is the provision of our King for those He loves. He does not leave His people exposed. In the long, dark hours of human suffering, He has set a shield. The beams and pillars speak of strength and beauty, but the core of that throne is paved with love. It is love that guards you, not a cold, distant watchman. The One who walked through agony for us now intercedes, and His own presence is your fortress.

You mentioned that ungodly powers feel as if they are bent on harm. The Scriptures never deny that such forces are real. But they also call us to take up the whole armor of God, not pieces of it, but the full provision, so that when the evil day comes, we can stand firm. Notice it says stand, not flee in panic. The enemy seeks to provoke a reaction out of fear, because fear-driven moves are usually the wrong moves. Nehemiah recognized this when enemies tried to intimidate him. He did not let fear dictate his steps; he set his heart on the greatness of the Lord. That is the holy fear that drives out the craven kind. It is a reverence that hates evil and clings to the light.

You are not meant to navigate this night as one groping in darkness. Christ has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light, and now you walk as a child of light. That doesn't mean the darkness stops pressing; it means you no longer belong to it. You have fellowship with the One who is light. So have no partnership with the unfruitful works of darkness, including its weapon of despair. Instead, reprove it by continuing to trust, by speaking truth when the accuser whispers lies, and by remembering that the Lord sees every hidden burden. Not one tear, not one sleepless night escapes His notice.

I urge you: do not measure God's protection by the absence of trials but by the promise of His presence. The moon rules the night by reflecting the light of the sun; in the same way, the church, and each believer, reflects the light of Jesus in the middle of a dark world. The darkness will not last forever. There is a morning coming when the day of the Lord will break with righteousness and healing. Until then, the Spirit broods over you like He hovered over the deep in creation, bringing order out of chaos and light out of gloom. Your family is not forgotten. Every medical challenge, every hidden plot, these are known to the One who ponders all the goings of man. Evil will not have the final word; the cords of its own sin will bind it.

So go forward with the sword of the Spirit on your thigh, like those valiant men. Speak the Word over your household. Pray with boldness, not as a terrified servant but as a beloved bride who knows her Shepherd’s voice. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil, and that holy hatred strengthens you to resist the very fear the enemy tries to plant. You are held within a chariot of love, guarded by the King who has already won the war. Stand in that truth, and may His peace, the peace that passes understanding, garrison your hearts.
