We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for protection, breakthrough, healing, and anointing. Father God, You are our refuge and fortress, our ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask for an extra measure of Your divine protection to surround each person in need—shield them from the schemes of the enemy, from harm, from fear, and from every attack of the evil one. Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
We stand in the gap for ###, ###, and ###, believing for Your healing touch to flow over their bodies, minds, and spirits. You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen them where they are weak, comfort them in their pain, and restore them to full health according to Your perfect will. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, we also lift up the church, asking for a fresh and powerful anointing to fall upon it. Pour out Your Spirit like a rushing wind and tongues of fire (Acts 2:2-4), igniting hearts with passion for Your presence, Your Word, and Your mission. Let the worship be sweet, the preaching be bold, and the fellowship be deep. Equip the leaders, teachers, and volunteers for the work ahead, especially for the children’s ministry tomorrow. May the little ones encounter You in a real and life-changing way, and may their hearts be tender toward the things of God.
Lord, we ask for breakthrough in every area where there is stagnation, delay, or opposition. Whether it is in work, ministry, finances, or personal struggles, we declare that the enemy’s plans are frustrated, and Your purposes prevail. Open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8), and let Your favor rest upon Your people like a shield. Give wisdom, creativity, and perseverance to those who are laboring, and let them see the fruit of their hands.
We also take a moment to address the foundation of our faith. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this does not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we urge them to turn to Him now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is a free gift, not earned by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have not made this decision, we pray that the Holy Spirit would draw you today.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your love, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and let us walk in the victory that is already ours through Christ Jesus. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
