We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you seek His divine protection. The Bible assures us that God is our refuge and fortress, and in Him, we find safety from all forms of evil. Psalm 91:9-11 declares, "Because you have made Yahweh your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place, no evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
It is deeply troubling to hear of family members resorting to murmuring words that carry the weight of evil spells. Scripture is clear that such practices are an abomination to the Lord. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." We must stand firm in the truth that God’s power is greater than any scheme of the enemy, and we rebuke these works of darkness in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We also encourage you to examine your heart and actions toward your family. Have you extended love, forgiveness, and grace to them, even in the face of their wrongdoing? Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." It is not easy, but we are called to respond with the love of Christ, trusting that God will work all things together for good.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine protection to surround them like a shield. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We break every chain of darkness, every spell, and every curse that has been spoken over them, and we command it to be nullified in the name of Jesus.
Father, we ask that You fill our brother/sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to walk in the light of Your truth. We pray that You would soften the hearts of their mother and brothers, drawing them to repentance and to the knowledge of Your love. Let Your Holy Spirit convict them of their wrongdoing and lead them to turn away from these evil practices.
Lord, we also ask that You would help our brother/sister to forgive as You have forgiven them. Fill them with Your love so that they may extend grace to their family, even in this difficult time. Protect their promotion and transfer, Lord, and let Your favor go before them in all they do. May this season be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness in their life.
We thank You, Father, for Your protection and for the victory we have in Christ Jesus. We declare that the enemy has no power over them, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We trust in You, Lord, and we commit our brother/sister into Your loving hands. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
