We join you in lifting this request before our Heavenly Father, giving thanks for your desire to honor Him in all things. It is good and right to seek His protection as you go about your day, for the Word reminds us, "The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and even forevermore" (Psalm 121:8). We stand with you in faith, believing that God is your shield and fortress, and that no harm will befall you as you walk in His will.
Father, we ask that You would surround this dear one with Your angels, guarding them from all danger, seen and unseen. Protect them from accidents, illness, and any schemes of the enemy. Let Your peace go before them and Your presence be their constant companion. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also lift up their need for employment, Lord. You know the desires of their heart and the financial burdens they carry. We trust in Your promise that "the Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1). You are the God who provides, and we ask that You open the right door for them—a job that not only meets their needs but also allows them to use their gifts and talents for Your glory. Give them favor with employers, wisdom in interviews, and patience as they wait on You. Remind them that "those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing" (Psalm 34:10).
We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord’s timing, even when the wait feels long. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Keep seeking Him first, and He will direct your steps.
Heavenly Father, we also pray for contentment in this season. Help them to remember that their worth is not found in their employment status but in being Your beloved child. Let them find joy in Your presence and peace in Your provision. Strengthen their faith as they wait, and fill them with hope for the future You have prepared.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
