We come before the Lord with your request, lifting up your need for protection over your government assistance and food benefit funds. Father God, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust in Your provision for those who seek You. We pray that You would guard these funds from any fraud, theft, or unjust interference, as You are the ultimate protector and provider.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 121:7-8, "Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more." Lord, we claim this promise over this situation, asking that You would surround these funds with Your divine protection. Let no scheme of the enemy prevail, and let Your peace and security rest upon them.
We also recognize that our ultimate security is found in You alone. In Matthew 6:31-33, Jesus teaches us, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Lord, we pray that this request would not come from a place of fear or anxiety, but from a heart that trusts in Your provision. Help us to seek You first in all things, knowing that You will never leave us nor forsake us.
We rebuke any spirit of lack or fear that may be trying to take hold in this situation. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that abundance and provision over this need, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, if there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in this situation, we ask that You would reveal it and bring repentance and healing. We know that unconfessed sin can hinder our prayers, as it says in Psalm 66:18, "If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened." We pray for a clean heart and a right spirit before You, so that our prayers may be heard and answered according to Your will.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment in managing these funds. Proverbs 3:9-10 tells us, "Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase: so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine." Lord, help us to honor You with what You have provided, using it wisely and generously, and trusting that You will continue to provide.
In closing, we thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness to provide for all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We declare that this situation is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
