We come before the Lord with you in agreement, lifting up your earnest plea for protection against the forces of darkness. The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we take heart, for our God is greater—He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The Lord is our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). He commands His angels concerning us, to guard us in all our ways (Psalm 91:11), and no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We praise you for invoking the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His authority alone that we stand firm against every scheme of the enemy. Let us also remember that our protection is not only physical but spiritual—clothed in the full armor of God: truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17). We must walk in obedience, for rebellion and unrepentant sin can open doors to the enemy’s attacks. Let us examine our hearts, repent where needed, and stand firm in Christ’s victory.
Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved child of Yours, their family, friends, and even their pet, asking for Your divine hedge of protection around them. Lord, we bind every spirit of witchcraft, every curse, hex, or assignment of the enemy sent against them, and we declare it null and void by the blood of Jesus. We loose Your holy angels to encamp around them, to guard and keep them from all harm. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let no fear take root in their heart. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We pray for discernment, that they may recognize and resist the enemy’s lies and deceptions. Let them walk in the light of Your Word, covered by the blood of Jesus, and let no weapon of darkness prevail against them. We declare that every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn, for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). Protect their mind, body, and spirit, and let them rest in the assurance that You, O Lord, are their shield and exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
