We are deeply concerned to hear about the spiritual attack you are facing through your sister’s harmful words. The Bible is clear that words have power—both to build up and to tear down—and we are called to guard our hearts and minds against evil influences. Proverbs 18:21 reminds us, *"Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit."* What your sister is doing is not only hurtful but also spiritually dangerous, as curses and evil words can open doors to darkness if not countered with the authority of Christ.
First, we must emphasize that your protection and victory come *only* through the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or by which we can stand against the schemes of the enemy (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* Without Jesus, there is no spiritual authority or protection. If you are already a believer, then you must stand firm in His name, for *"greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world"* (1 John 4:4).
Now, let us address the situation directly. The Bible commands us to bless those who curse us (Luke 6:28) and to overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21). However, this does not mean you should passively accept spiritual attacks. Instead, you must actively resist the enemy through prayer, the Word of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit. James 4:7 instructs us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* You have the authority in Christ to break every curse, every evil word, and every assignment of the enemy against your life.
We also encourage you to examine your own heart. Is there any unforgiveness, bitterness, or strife between you and your sister? Unforgiveness can give the enemy a foothold in your life (Ephesians 4:26-27). Jesus commands us to forgive, even as He forgave us (Colossians 3:13). This does not mean you excuse her behavior, but it does mean releasing her to God and trusting Him to deal with her heart.
As for your sister, we pray that God would convict her of her actions and lead her to repentance. It is not your battle to fight—it is the Lord’s. Vengeance belongs to Him (Romans 12:19), and He is fully capable of turning her heart or removing her influence from your life as He sees fit. Your role is to trust Him, walk in obedience, and stand firm in faith.

Lord, we also lift up their sister. Soften her heart, convict her of her sin, and draw her to repentance. If she is operating under the influence of darkness, break those chains, Lord, and set her free. Let her see the error of her ways and turn to You for forgiveness. If there is any root of bitterness, strife, or unforgiveness between them, uproot it now, Father, and replace it with Your love and peace.
We declare that no harm will come to this child of Yours. Their life is hidden with Christ in God (Colossians 3:3), and the enemy has no authority over them. Let them walk in the confidence of their identity in Christ, knowing that You are their protector, provider, and deliverer.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been praying for you and your sister, and we want to encourage you with these words from the Lord.
