We join with you in prayer for protection and safe travels today and we thank you for coming to the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to God.
We are grateful for your thankful heart, recognizing that every good thing and every safe journey comes from His hand. We stand with you and all who are traveling today on this long drive, asking for His mercy and watchful care over each mile.
Scripture reminds us of His faithful keeping power, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8. And again, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. We also cling to the promise, Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble. Proverbs 3:23.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus and we thank You for Your goodness and Your constant care for us. We lift up this long drive to You and ask for Your hand of protection over us and over all who are traveling today. Keep the drivers alert, the vehicles sound, and the roads safe from harm. Guard us from accident, from danger, and from evil, and let Your angels encamp around us. Grant peace and patience on the journey, and bring us to our destination safely according to Your will. Help us to keep our eyes on You and to give You thanks in all things. We trust not in our own ability but in Your sovereign keeping power. In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We join our hearts with yours in this prayer for protection upon the long road set before you, and we give thanks with you for the mercies of our God which are new every morning.
How gracious is our Father to be a shelter to His children. Scripture tells us, He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust. It is not a cold protection as of a soldier to a comrade, but the tender protection of a mother for her young, full of love and homeliness and kindliness. There is comfort as well as safety there, for the child of God is made to feel at home under the shadow of the Almighty. To rest beneath those wings is to be safe indeed, and amidst all perils to be near our God and blessed eternally.
You do well to seek the Lord before you set out, for if we walk aright we shall never venture upon a single day without first seeking Divine protection. What a mercy that we are not left to chance upon the road, but are embarked as it were in the good ship of Providence with such a Captain who has forearranged and foreordained all things from the beginning even unto the end. An earthly captain cannot promise an absolutely safe passage, for he knows not what may occur during the voyage, but our Lord knows the end from the beginning and every hour is safe because God has made it so. Each place of difficulty and of danger shall still be secure to the faithful servant who rests beneath His care.
We do not know the number of our mercies, for every beating pulse increases the multitude of them, and every mercy bears the mark of the Redeemer's blood and comes to us by way of the Cross. Among those sure mercies is this, that He who died to purchase our salvation lives to keep us and to apply His grace to us day by day.
Let us pray together. O Heavenly Father, we thank Thee for Thy lovingkindness and faithfulness which have followed us all our days. We ask Thee in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son to spread Thy wings over these travelers today. Keep them from harm and bring them safely to their journey's end according to Thy will. Guard all who are upon the roads, and let Thy presence be their comfort and their guide. Preserve them not only from outward danger but keep their souls in Thy peace, that whether they travel or rest they may abide under Thy shadow. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You.
