We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude and reverence, lifting up these earnest petitions to our Heavenly Father. Your Word reminds us in Psalm 91:1-2, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"*
We stand in agreement with this request, declaring that every moment of life is a gift from You, Lord, and we desire to steward it wisely. As Psalm 90:12 teaches, *"So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom."* We ask that You establish the work of our hands, just as You promised in Psalm 90:17, *"Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands."* May every word we speak, every decision we make, and every opportunity we seize bring glory to Your name and touch lives for Your kingdom.
We plead the precious blood of Jesus over this family—over their home, their health, their vehicles, their work, and their home education. The blood of Jesus is our protection, our covering, and our victory, as Revelation 12:11 declares, *"They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony."* We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, for You have said in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me."*
Father, we lift up the adult children in this family, asking that You close every door that leads to harm, temptation, or ungodly influences. Open doors of righteousness, good opportunities, and kind, Christian connections that will draw them closer to You. Your Word assures us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that their paths would be directed by Your hand alone.
For the husband, wife, and children, we ask for Your divine protection in all their travels and environments. Psalm 121:7-8 promises, *"Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."* We declare that You are their shield, their refuge, and their peace in every situation. Surround them with Your hedge of protection, Lord, as Job experienced when You set a hedge around him and all that he had (Job 1:10).
We also take authority over every form of evil that may seek to harm this family. In the name of Jesus, we rebuke every scheme of the enemy, for 1 John 4:4 declares, *"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world."* We stand on the promise of 2 Thessalonians 3:3, *"But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one."*
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the answered prayers this family has already seen. We join them in praising You with all that is within us, for You are worthy of all honor, glory, and praise. As Revelation 21:5 reminds us, *"He who sits on the throne said, 'Behold, I am making all things new.'"* We trust in Your promise to make all things new, to restore what has been broken, and to bring beauty from ashes.
Heavenly Father, we also want to gently remind all who read this that salvation and access to You come only through the name of Jesus Christ. Your Word is clear in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If anyone reading this has not surrendered their life to Jesus, we encourage them to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and invite Him to be Lord of your life. In doing so, you will be saved and welcomed into the family of God.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
