We join you in giving thanks to the Lord for all the blessings He has given, for His mercies and His comfort in every trial. Blessed be the God of mercies who delivers us and crowns us with pity and tender mercies, and we thank Him with you for His goodness to your home and family.
We pray with you for increasing order and organization in your kitchen and throughout your home, and for excellence and diligence in your work. May the Lord help you to use what He has entrusted to you with good stewardship, so that your productivity in every area of life may give Him all credit and thanksgiving. We ask Him to grant you wisdom and peace as you seek to complete the requirements of your work faithfully.
We bring before the Lord your requests for healing and protection. We ask for His healing touch where there is generational illness, for health in body and heart, and for restoration of broken relationships according to His grace. For your daughter, we pray for healing, for strength in her work and schooling, and for protection in her marriage. We pray that her marriage may reflect what Scripture teaches, that marriage is honorable and pure, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, kept in holiness and chastity and orderly love, preserving the holiness that comes through faith. We ask the Lord to guard her from any harm or abuse, to close doors that would lead to harm and to open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections, and to help both your daughter and your son to see themselves as God sees them in Christ, loved, forgiven, and made new through Jesus alone, for there is salvation in no other name.
For your son we pray for safety on his motorcycle and on his upcoming long travels, for travel mercies and for wisdom and watchfulness on the road. We ask the Lord to guide him as he looks toward marriage, that when he marries it may be only in the Lord, with chastity and honor, to a godly wife who loves Christ, so that their union may be faithful and lifelong.
We pray also for the trial you are working through, and for the unspoken requests you carry. May the Lord grant you strength, patience, and hope in His promises, and help you to love Him with all your heart and mind and soul and strength, and to love one another more deeply. We ask Him to increase the fruit of the Spirit in your home, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.
We ask the Lord to keep you safe in all travels and to deliver you all from evil, surrounding you with His hedge of protection and favor according to His Word in Psalm 91 and Psalm 121, Isaiah 54:17, 1 John 4:4, 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3, and Revelation 21:5 where He promises to make all things new. May He guard you from the evil one, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and may the Lord who is faithful establish you and guard you.
May all glory and praise and credit be given to the Lord, who has shown such great mercy in bringing us from darkness into His light through Jesus Christ. We entrust you and your family to His care, in Jesus name, Amen.
