We join you in thanksgiving to the Lord for all the blessings He has given, for every good and perfect gift comes from above. We praise Him with you that in everything you give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you, 1 Thessalonians 5:18. We agree with you in asking for increasing order and organization in your kitchen and throughout your home, that all things may be done decently and in order, 1 Corinthians 14:40, and that whatever you do, you will work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, Colossians 3:23, moving toward excellence and completion of the requirements of your work and productivity in every area of life to give Him all credit and thanksgiving.
We lift up your request for freedom from generational illness and we ask the Lord who is our healer to touch your family. We pray that He will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, Jeremiah 30:17, for He is Yahweh who heals you, Exodus 15:26, and by His wounds we are healed, Isaiah 53:5. In Christ the curse has been broken, Galatians 3:13, and we claim His healing and wholeness over your household.
We bring your daughter before the throne of grace, asking for healing, help in her work, protection in her marriage from any abuse, and strength in her schooling. We pray her marriage will be honored as God intends, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman that reflects Christ and the church, where husbands love their wives as Christ also loved the church, Ephesians 5:25, and do not be harsh with them, Colossians 3:19. May the Lord protect her and let no weapon that is formed against her prevail, Isaiah 54:17, and guard her from all harm. We also lift up your son and daughter together that they may see themselves as God sees them, fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14, His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared before that they would walk in them, Ephesians 2:10. We ask the Lord to close the doors that lead to harm in their lives and to open doors for good opportunities and kind Christian connections, for a great and effective door has been opened, 1 Corinthians 16:9, and He sets before us an open door which no one can shut, Revelation 3:8.
We pray for your son's safety on his motorcycle and on his upcoming long travels, asking for travel mercies. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more, Psalm 121:7-8. We ask for wisdom and alertness for him as he travels and as he stewards the life God has given him. We also join you in praying that the Lord will direct him to his future wife. We pray he will seek a godly Christian believer for courtship with the goal of marriage as God ordained, for whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh, Proverbs 18:22, and that he will not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14, but will pursue a marriage that honors God between a man and a woman for a lifetime, Genesis 2:24.
We intercede for the healing of hearts and broken relationships in your family, asking the Lord to make all things new, Revelation 21:5, for He said, Behold, I am making all things new. We pray you will be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you, Ephesians 4:32. We lift up the trial you are working through, trusting that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose, Romans 8:28, and that the testing of your faith produces endurance, James 1:3. We also bring your unspoken requests before Him, knowing that the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered, Romans 8:26, and He knows every need.
We agree with you that you may love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind, Matthew 22:37, and with all your strength, Mark 12:30, and that He will empower you to love one another. We ask Him to increase the fruit of the Spirit in your home, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control, Galatians 5:22-23. We pray for safety in all travels and for deliverance from all evil surrounding you with His hedge of protection and favor according to His promises. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of Yahweh, He is our refuge and our fortress, our God, in whom we trust, Psalm 91:1-2. Greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, and the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3.
Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to Your throne, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and we thank You that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved, Romans 10:13. We thank You for Your mercy, Your protection, Your healing, and Your guidance. We ask You to establish the work of our hands, to bring order and peace to this home, to heal bodies and hearts, to guard these children and lead them into the good plans You have for them, for You know the thoughts that You think toward us, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give us hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11. Let all glory and praise and credit be given to You alone. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.
