Protection from spiritual attacks
We join with you in prayer for protection and for peace over your body and mind, and we seek God's will together in Jesus' name for your sleep to be restored and your heart to be guarded.
We understand how wearying relentless attacks can be, especially when they disturb your rest. We want to remind you that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 Yet we do not face this battle alone or in our own strength. For he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 And God has given us authority in Christ to stand firm and to resist the enemy.
Scripture tells us, Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 We are called to be sober and watchful, because your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith. 1 Peter 5:8-9 And we have this promise, Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. James 4:7-8
For sleep specifically, we cling to God's promises of rest. In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. Psalm 4:8 And, When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet. Proverbs 3:24 For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 Any fear, torment, or disturbance in the night is not from our Father.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Defender. We thank You that it is only through Jesus that we have access to You and that there is power in His name to save, deliver, and protect. We lift up this dear one to You who is experiencing relentless attacks on body and mind and disturbances in sleep. We ask in Jesus' name that You place Your hedge of protection around them. Cover them with Your wings, and let them take refuge under Your faithfulness. We ask that You command Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways. Psalm 91:11
We rebuke every spiritual attack and every assignment of the enemy against their body, mind, and sleep, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon that is formed against them will prevail. We ask You, Lord, to fill their mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding and to guard their heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 Let Your Holy Spirit fill every room where they sleep, and let no darkness remain. Grant them sweet, deep, and undisturbed sleep, for You give sleep to Your beloved. Psalm 127:2
We pray that You would help them to daily put on the whole armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet fitted with the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your word. Ephesians 6:14-17 Teach them to submit fully to You and to stand steadfast in faith, speaking Your word aloud when fear or disturbance comes.
We encourage you to continue to draw near to God through prayer, through reading and speaking Scripture before sleep, and through worship. Keep your mind stayed on Him, and if there is any open door such as unconfessed sin, occult practices, or media that dishonors God, bring it to the Lord in repentance and close it. Walk in obedience and fill your home and your night with praise and the Word of God. He will be your peace and your keeper through the night.

We have heard your cry for protection from relentless attacks upon body and mind, and for the disturbances that break your sleep, and we bring you to the throne of grace in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and salvation.
Scripture reminds us, For so he giveth his beloved sleep, Psalm 127:2. Sleep is a gift from His hand, and He who watches over Israel will watch over you. We pray that He will grant you that quiet sleep of His beloved, that your body may rest and your mind be stayed upon Him. As it is written, I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep, for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety, Psalm 4:8.
We pray for you now. Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, we ask for Thy covering over this dear one. Guard body and mind from the assaults of the evil one. The Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil, 2 Thessalonians 3:3. Put upon this believer the whole armour of God, that he may stand against the wiles of the devil, Ephesians 6:11. Let Thy peace, which passeth all understanding, keep heart and mind through Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. Rebuke every work of darkness, quiet every troubling thought, and command peaceful sleep by Thy power. Let no weapon formed against Thy child prosper, and let the infernal lions not rend the lambs of Thy flock, for they are a love token from the Father to the Son, and Christ will not suffer the least of them to perish.
We encourage you, as you wait upon the Lord, to keep close to Christ in His Word and in prayer, to cast all your care upon Him for He careth for you, 1 Peter 5:7, and to resist the devil steadfast in the faith, knowing that your adversary flees when resisted in the name of Jesus, James 4:7. Seek fellowship with faithful believers who can stand with you and pray with you, and if these disturbances in sleep persist, seek wise and godly counsel and care for your body as the temple of the Holy Ghost.
May the Lord command His blessing upon your nights and days, keep you in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him, and cause you to dwell in safety under the shadow of His wings.
