We join with you in Jesus' name and stand with you against these relentless attacks on your body and mind and the disturbances in your sleep. We know our struggle is real and spiritual, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The enemy prowls around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, but we are called to be sober and self-controlled, to resist him steadfast in our faith 1 Peter 5:8-9.
We thank you that you have come in the name of Jesus, for there is power and protection in that name alone and it is by Him we have access to the Father and victory over darkness. The Word tells us that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4 and that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3. We cling to the promise that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1 and that He will give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways Psalm 91:11.
We encourage you to daily put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet fitted with the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God Ephesians 6:14-17. Submit therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you James 4:7. Draw near to God through prayer, worship, and the Word, especially before sleep, and guard what enters your mind and your home. If there are any open doors through unforgiveness, fear, or things that do not honor God, confess them and turn from them, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. Let the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

Fill this mind with Your perfect peace and let Your Holy Spirit bring calm where there has been disturbance. We ask that You grant deep, undisturbed, and restorative sleep, for You give sleep to Your beloved Psalm 127:2 and Your Word says we will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone make us dwell in safety Psalm 4:8. Let no terror of night alarm them Psalm 91:5, but let them rest in the shadow of Your wings. Strengthen their faith, renew their mind with Your Word, and let them know that nothing shall separate them from Your love in Christ Romans 8:38-39. We declare that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust. Restore strength to their body and clarity and peace to their mind, and let Your joy be their strength. We thank You for deliverance and for victory through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We have heard your cry for protection and we join you in prayer before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to keep you in His perfect peace and to guard your body and mind.
Scripture teaches us that there are two kinds of peace. One is a false peace which lulls the soul to sleep while the enemy keeps his goods in safety, and this peace is stupefying and deadly. The other is the true peace of God which keeps the heart and mind through Christ Jesus. It is peace from lips that cannot lie, peace through the blood which has made a full atonement. We pray that you may know this true peace, for the blood of Jesus whispers peace within even in this dark world of sin, and that peace will ward off evils and preserve you.
Sleep itself is the gift of God. We do not give it to ourselves by merely lying down, but the Lord giveth His beloved sleep. The sleep of the careless and the sleep of sorrow are not His gift, but the quiet rest of those who trust in Him is. When disturbances break your rest, remember that He who neither slumbers nor sleeps watches over you, and He is able to command calm for His children.
We are also reminded that if we would have peace with God there must be war with Satan. The way of protection is to submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you. Put on the whole armour of God, abide in Christ, confess sin and cling to His cross, for pardon and healing are one in His hand. When Jesus forgives sin He brings healing in His wings, and though the body is yet burdened and groans, the spirit is life because of righteousness.
Let us pray for you now.
Heavenly Father, we come in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation, and through whose blood alone is peace with You. We ask You to cover this dear soul with Your mighty hand. Guard the mind and body from every assault of the evil one. Grant repentance where it is needed, faith where it is weak, and a steadfast heart to resist temptation. Keep the heart and mind by Your perfect peace, that which passes all understanding. Give the gift of quiet sleep, restore strength, and let Your Word heal and deliver from destruction. We have heard your cry for protection and we are joining you in prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ who alone is our keeper and our refuge.
Scripture reminds us that he who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep, and that our part is to guard ourselves and stand steadfast. The enemy seeks to bring anxiety and disturbance upon body and mind, but the yoke of Christ is sweet and light, and his peace can guard the soul and bring an orderly and collected rest. Even our Lord took on a true human body with its natural needs for food and sleep, yet without sin, showing that sleep itself is not a fault but a gift from God to be received with thankfulness and purity of mind.
Therefore we encourage you to set your mind on things above where Christ is seated, to offer yourself as a living sacrifice in purity of heart, and to worship him in spirit and truth. In the evening, keep your heart free from excess and turmoil, bring every anxious thought to him in prayer, and let the word of Christ dwell richly in you. A soul that is ordered by the fear of God and trust in his mercy is not drowned in heavy sleep but rests lightly and peacefully in his care, and its dreams are not filled with wild disturbance.
