We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). These attacks on your body and mind are not from God, who gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names. We plead the blood of Jesus over [this dear one], covering every area of their life, mind, body, and spirit. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We ask You to surround them with Your holy angels, commanding them to encamp around and protect from every fiery dart of the enemy (Psalm 34:7). Father, we break every assignment of the enemy against their sleep, their peace, and their health. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask You to fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them with might by Your Spirit in their inner being (Ephesians 3:16). Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Help them to resist the devil, standing firm in faith, knowing that after they have suffered a little while, You will restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish them (1 Peter 5:9-10).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). The belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, these are your protection. Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication, and stay alert with perseverance (Ephesians 6:13-18).
Remember, the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). You are not fighting alone. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8). Submit yourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Stand firm in the victory that Jesus has already won on the cross. The enemy is already defeated, and through Christ, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).
We declare over you: "The Lord will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before you. They shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways" (Deuteronomy 28:7). May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Amen.
