We come before the Lord together, lifting up this urgent plea for protection from spiritual attacks that are afflicting both body and mind, disrupting peace and rest. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but we stand firm on the promise that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of fear, torment, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Heavenly Father, we ask You to surround this dear one with Your hedge of protection, as You did for Job (Job 1:10). Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). We declare that the blood of Jesus covers them, and no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit, breaking every chain of sleeplessness, anxiety, and physical affliction. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also encourage this beloved child of God to put on the full armor of God daily, so they may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). Let them gird their loins with truth, put on the breastplate of righteousness, and shod their feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, let them take up the shield of faith, with which they can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one, and the helmet of salvation, along with the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:14-17). Remind them to pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication, and to stay alert with perseverance in prayer for all the saints (Ephesians 6:18).
Father, we ask You to fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who will guide them into all truth and remind them of Your promises (John 16:13). Let them find rest in You, for You give Your beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to resist the devil, so he will flee from them (James 4:7). Remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also pray for discernment, that they may recognize the source of these attacks and stand firm in their identity in Christ. Let them not be ignorant of the devil’s devices (2 Corinthians 2:11), but let them walk in the authority You have given them as children of God. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37), and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We trust in Your protection and provision, knowing that You will never leave nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
