We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up these earnest requests for protection, healing, and provision. First, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood alone that we are saved. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation upon which all other prayers rest.
Father God, we stand in the gap for our brother or sister who is facing spiritual attacks. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every scheme of the devil in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for the full armor of God to be firmly placed upon you, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:10-18). May you stand firm, resisting the devil so that he will flee from you (James 4:7).
Lord, we also lift up the request for healing in body and mind. We know that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and that You are the Great Physician who can restore every broken area. We pray for physical healing, trusting in Your promise that You will satisfy our mouths with good things, so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s (Psalm 103:5). For the mind, we ask for peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Cast down every thought and imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Renew your mind with the truth of Your Word, for it is life and health to all who find it (Proverbs 4:22).
Regarding the financial breakthrough, we know that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14). We pray that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so great that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10). Give wisdom in managing resources, and lead to opportunities that align with Your will. We declare that the Lord is our shepherd, and we shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Trust in Him at all times, pouring out your heart before Him, for God is a refuge for us (Psalm 62:8). We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty, for the earth is the Lord’s and all its fullness (Psalm 24:1). May you walk in the abundance of God’s provision, not trusting in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy (1 Timothy 6:17).
We also encourage you to examine your life for any areas that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Unconfessed sin, bitterness, unforgiveness, or idolatry can hinder your prayers and leave you vulnerable to attack. If there is anything in your life that does not align with God’s Word, we urge you to repent and turn away from it. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed (James 5:16).
Finally, we pray that you would draw closer to the Lord in this season. Seek Him with all your heart, and He will be found by you (Jeremiah 29:13). Spend time in His Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). Surround yourself with godly believers who can encourage and pray for you. And remember, the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Heavenly Father, we lift up this dear one to You now. Protect them from every spiritual attack, heal their body and mind, and provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill them with Your peace. May they walk in victory, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
