We stand with you in this urgent cry for protection, and we lift your son before the Lord with deep concern and fervent prayer. The abuse of any child is an abomination in the sight of God, a grievous sin that He does not ignore. Scripture is clear that God is a defender of the fatherless and the oppressed, and He calls His people to act justly and protect the vulnerable. *"He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing."* (Deuteronomy 10:18, WEB). The Lord sees the suffering of your son, and He hears your plea for intervention.
It is right that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the throne of God with confidence. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). We join you in declaring that the power of Jesus’ name is mighty to save, to deliver, and to break the chains of evil. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10, WEB). We rebuke the spirit of abuse in the name of Jesus and command it to cease its assault against your son and others who are suffering. *"Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* (James 4:7, WEB).
We also urge you, if you have not already, to take immediate and practical steps to ensure your son’s safety. God often works through His people to bring about protection and justice. This may involve contacting authorities, trusted church leaders, or organizations equipped to intervene in cases of abuse. Do not hesitate to act—God has placed you as a steward over your child’s well-being, and He will give you wisdom and courage. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* (James 1:5, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with broken hearts, lifting this precious child to Your throne of grace. Lord Jesus, You said, *"Let the little children come to me! Don’t forbid them, for God’s Kingdom belongs to such as these."* (Mark 10:14, WEB). We ask that You surround this son with Your divine protection, placing a hedge of angels around him to guard him from all harm. Break the power of abuse in his life and in the lives of others who are suffering. Expose the darkness, Lord, and bring the perpetrators to justice. Give this mother—this warrior for her child—the strength, wisdom, and resources to act decisively. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding, even in the midst of this storm.
We declare that no weapon formed against this child will prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). We plead the blood of Jesus over him, covering him with Your righteousness and mercy. Heal his heart, mind, and body from any wounds inflicted by this evil. Raise up godly people to stand in the gap for him, to be Your hands and feet in this situation. Let Your light shine so brightly in this darkness that the enemy is driven back, and let Your will be done in this child’s life for Your glory.
We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, knowing that the Lord is fighting for your son. *"Don’t be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you," says Yahweh."* (Jeremiah 1:8, WEB). Keep praying without ceasing, and trust that God is moving, even when you cannot yet see the breakthrough. We are with you in this battle, and we will continue to lift you both up in prayer. May the Lord grant you His peace and assurance as you walk this path.
